    WL Music

Yup. They had changed the tape in January. Just wondering if there are any musicians out there who might have stayed at WL in prior years & have heard the music this year?

    WL Music

You had to listen, but the WL music that had played for the previous five years we were there, was not there (& we are there four-weeks a year). There were some notes that might sound familiar, but the music we had known was not playing. Couple of years ago we downloaded the music from the list...

May have been posted before, but does anyone know what happened to the PA music at the WL?

    Hilton?

The Hilton properties are superb & offer a lot you will not find at POR. However, if you have a teenager who you want to have the flexibility you outline IMOP stay on WDW property. Nothing beats WDW transportation.

    Hilton?

We are DVC members & also Hilton Grand Vacation Club members. There are two Hilton Grand Vacation Clubs in Orlando: SeaWorld & International Drive ("Tuscany"). The one on International Drive is brand new. We have stayed at both. Excellent choices if you are driving. Perhaps it has changed...

    New Years Eve Fireworks

EPCOT New Year's Eve fireworks are best-in-the-world. Any point around the lake works. These fireworks are so powerful you think they are going to knock you over. People near us Jan 1 '06 were actually moving back.

    Really how cold in Feb?

We've spent five weeks at WDW in January/February for the past five years. While the weather is variable, it has never been really-really cold. We are Midwesterners & purposely go to Florida at that time. Take the quiz: Would you rather sit in a snowbank at 10-below, or be at WDW in mostly...

Has anyone used a VOIP Wi-Fi phone anywhere around any of the Downtown Disney hotels? Any codes required?

    Weather in January

We have seen more folks heading off "To-The-Parks" early on a January morning in shorts & short-sleeves...freezing. We nod to each other: "Yup, The Mouse is going to sell some sweats today!" Long-pants. Layered clothing (you can always keep taking it off!). And by all means rain-gear. Slickers...

    Mug Service at WL?

Does anyone have any info on mug-service (coffee/pop) at WL/WLV since Roaring Forks is shutting down Jan 8/9 for a long time for refit.

    Mailing our luggage

We've shipped a large box of "extra stuff" for several years. Warning on Snailmail bulk -- depends a bit on where you live. Anything east of Mississippi seems OK -- goes in a few days; west of that & it takes 10 days or more. Mark "hold-for-arrival" & your name on box (obviously address to WDW...

    Great Chicago Trib WDW article!

Sorry 'bout that. There seems to be a technical challenge in posting an access code as long as that for the WDW story in the Chicago Tribune. Here it is in segments (hopefully): http://www.chicagotribune.com/travel/orl-asecdisney 01050105may01,1,7600086.story?coll=chi-news-hed And...

    Dim sum, anyone?

Deb: If you are ever in Las Vegas during Christmas Holidays or Chinese New Year (only times we know it is offered), take in the special dim sum lunch at Jasmine in Bellagio. Out of this world! We've done it twice -- pricey -- but worth every penny.

Generally disappointed with many Disney meals this time! (long)

If you've got the $$$, climb every mountain, sample every restaurant. If you want to eat better for less we find the old truisms about WDW to still be true: Eat breakfast in the room. Buy your OJ by the gallon if that's what your kids want. Make lunch The Big Meal of the day -- you'll save...
