We booked a 1 bedroom at the 7 month mark for this August, 08/21-08/26. The only thing available was an Ocean View which was fine since that was what we wanted, but I was surprised that's all we could book. Jeff

My first Disney cruise was 2002. I have been on CC about 15 times and not once to Serenity Bay. I did look at it one time for a few fleeting seconds, but it didn't take me very long to realize the fun that was happening on the island wasn't here. LOL

DCL used to allow that, but I don't think they do anymore. The last couple of times we sailed (2012, 2014) we needed to provide a credit card for the deposit. I am guessing that part of the reason is so that you spend more money on the ship as opposed to using up your "budget" on future cruise...
