Sistah Twistah - A January Dining Review- Updated- 6/25 - COMPLETE!!!

Orange swirl update !!! I'm at the world now (yeah) and found the orange swirl. I was so happy! It is at the sunshine tree terrace in adventure land in MK. Sorry I didn't think to get a picture before I dove in. It tastes like a creamsicle! Yum!

March 2016 ... anyone else going

We leave in 2 more days ! Yes, the forecast looks awesome and I ended up changing a few items that I packed since it doesn't seem to be as chilly at night as was forecast.

    Alamo skip the Counter

Sorry to hijack...I have a Sunwing package which includes an Alamo rental. I've done the online checkin, but the instructions are still to take my docs to the counter. I'm sure that I don't have a choice but head Defoe the counter, but wondered if anyone had any luck with the skip the counter...

Sistah Twistah - A January Dining Review- Updated- 6/25 - COMPLETE!!!

I wasn't a fan of the float either...got one due to the hype on the boards, but didn't finish mine either. I am really tempted by the orange and vanilla swirl....hope I can find one in 20 days!

Ohana's not what it used to be

Oh dear! We had an awesome experience when we came here for dinner in 2006! For our upcoming girls trip, DD14 picked this breakfast as her one character meal (no DDP, and on a budget). Now I'm a little worried!

Tips for a 4YO Nervous About Meeting Characters?

When my DD, then 4, met her first princesses she was incredibly shy although she was a huge princess fan and very excited to meet them at CRT. When they came to the table, though, she got very shy and the only way that I could get a picture was to hold her and stand beside the princess. We were...

I'm not sure what they are-I haven't seen them yet! Someone on another thread somewhere called them whispering Knights I think!

Sistah Twistah - A January Dining Review- Updated- 6/25 - COMPLETE!!!

I found out today that once you're at 30 days or less, you can go to MDE online and when you check your ADR there you will see a button for pre-order. It doesn't show up on the mobile app (at least not on mine on my iPhone). I did pre-order fir BOG, but wonder how much of the wait to order...

    midnight for FP+ important?

I'm a fast pass+ newbie, so hardly an expert, however I would recommend going on at midnight for your must-do things that are big draws, and when you have specific time frames in mind. My 30 day opened up this morning, and at 12:01, the only times left for 7DMT were 4:30 and later. Checking...

March 2016 ... anyone else going

We're heading down March 14-21! We've booked offsite - just couldn't make onsite fit in the budget. Monday to Monday timeline saved us several hundred dollars. It's out first trip offsite, but since it's been 10 years since we've been there, I will be happy wherever we stay!

HELP!!! Who to use - when booking a Walt Disney Package from Canada/Ontario

I ended up booking through selloffvacations (in CAD) for a Sunwing package offsite. There were onsite options but as we are travelling march break, none fit into our budget. I found that booking my tickets as an add on with the package saved me $240 over booking them straight through WDW...

    Bringing Food From Canada

As a long time camper who has camped more in the US than Canada, as well as at Fort Wilderness, I never bring food over the border without checking the border protection website that pp has provided above. Also, it is safest to bring things in orginial packaging, especially preserving labels on...

    Sharing CS meals

Great ideas! I didn't realize there were special food kiosks for food and garden too!

Official 'how to get from point A to point B while at WDW' thread.

TTC to 'Ohana breakfast question... We're staying offsite and driving in. We have a 7:55 ADR at the Poly, then plan to stay the day at MK. I know it's likely best to park at the TTC and use WDW transportion for the end of day convenience rather than parking at Poly and moving the car later to...

    Sharing CS meals

We are coming just after you, rcraw, Mar 14-21. We're staying offsite for the first time, just couldn't get an onsite deal to fit in the budget. That's ok, though, at least we're coming ! Last time we came, we stayed at WL too and loved it and being on the dining plan. Before that, we camped at...

    Sharing CS meals

DD14 and I are coming in March for a girls trip (woohoo), and plan to share some meals as we are not big eaters and are trying to keep the food spending in check. What are your favourite CS meals in any park that are big enough for 2 light appetites to share? We want to enjoy a wide range of...

St. Pete's to WDW area and a hopping question

Good tips about heading back the night before, but I'm hoping that driving through the area before 7am will mist most of the traffic problems. Unfortunately the trip can't be canceled in case I find a cheaper last minute deal. The flight prices from Toronto, Ontario down during march break...
