Joss Whedon (the creator and director, and dare I say minor diety) has done a wonderful job of making the movie accesable to anyone that has never seen 'Firefly'. It is an excellent movie and a must see. Also, you should rent the 'Firefly' disks and watch those as well. It really is an amazing show.

I've also heard that the entire cast signed on for a 3 movie option and that Joss has said that they would all be in the next movies. Perhaps as flashbacks or something. I'll be seeing the BDM today (Friday) or tomorrow, then I'll see it again next week and probably again the week after that and perhaps once again the week after that. Might try and see it a few times after that as well. Yes, I am a big fan of Firefly.

I like them pan fried in butter. Tried oil once to reduce the fat content a bit, but they just were not the same. Oh yeah, chunks of crab, hot sauce and cold beer for me as well.

I have the DVD and the soundtrack. It is an excellent movie all around. Great story (loosely based on 'The Odyssey' if I remember correctly), great dialogue, great acting and great music.

Just to be safe, anything that you wouldn't want the world to know about you. Yeah, I'm a bit cynical, but it couldn't hurt.
