Well, THAT was worth every single penny. I know people said it wasn't for Disney fans, but I would argue it was perfect. It was all about the rides and almost empty. I waited one car to get on 7DMT, didn't wait at all for SM or BTMM. And I had a private Jungle Cruise!
I have a ticket for tonight. I can't wait...I am here for a conference by myself and was going to skip MK because I can only go at night and didn't want to deal with crowds. The pictures I have seen have shown an empty park and being able to run around and do everything is worth every single...
I saw it for the first time ever this weekend, and I can't believe they are wasting that huge space. The movie was a time capsule of the worst of the 80's (and I graduated from HS in 1986!), the floor moving was ridiculous, and there were maybe 20 people in the theater on a Saturday. There...
Where in San Diego? That can make the answer vary tremendously. I live in the city and I've made it in about an hour and 45 minutes on a good day, which it should be on Sunday morning. (Although, I've also had it take almost three hours...) But if you are up in Carlsbad or anywhere north...
Just came back from two nights in our RV with me and my son - the crowds were very heavy, but luckily, we had a good time working a couple of FastPasses and just walking around, enjoying each other.
We did the Wine Country Trattoria dining package on Monday night - I have eaten there before...
14 pounds? Really? Wow - I would just throw 95% of it away if someone brought 14 pounds of candy into my house! And, of course, the villains, fireworks, etc are what brought DS and me to the first MHP this year. And they are what I'd prefer to spend my time doing. I guess I'm just an...
Can someone explain to me why getting candy is so important to some people? I'm not trying to be snotty, I just don't get it. (It could be that we eat very little candy in our house and I feel like enough of it comes in during Halloween anyway.) Why spend your time in the park getting what...
Yeah, that's not going to work. I just drove my RV there, slept at the Anaheim Resort RV Park with my son and then went to DD the next morning. There was no RV parking there (there is some at the Mickey & Friends structure, but definitely not for overnight), so I parked on the outer edge of...
What? You got yelled at? Why in the world would you need a handstamp with an AP unless the park was in danger of being closed for capacity? Even then, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't let you back in!
There are two styles each of the pink and green fabric and the blue and white fabric bags on sale - they are the large tote and the small purse. (I bought the small blue and white Mickey head one - with the sale price and my AP discount, I think it was only $33 something.)
As mentioned, the...
I'd honestly be shocked if the "majority" of kids from anywhere head to Disneyland when schools are closed. I'm pretty sure most parents are working hard these days, and maybe one or two kids out of a class may be going.
San Diego schools are NOT off in October, btw.
