We also used QuickSilver in late Dec. We paid the full round trip when we arrived at POR in cash; also tipped the driver. Then we tipped the other driver when we were dropped off at the end of our trip at the airport.

Check out JetBlue out of Logan. They have their Oct schedules out now. We have flown JetBlue 4 times out of Logan and absolutely love them!!

This happened to us on our return to Boston from Orlando on 1/2. When we had booked the flight 6 weeks prior to our trip, the only seats available were in different parts of the plane. At POR over New Years. All rooms have refrigerators. I believe all the moderate and deluxes have refrigerators in rooms now.

Our very first trip was 4 yrs ago at the beginning of November. The weather was beautiful....high 80s but no humidity. There were no crowds and we got to experience everything we wanted to :D

Sorry some of you have had problems with the Photopass. Personally, I like the new system. We were there over the holidays, had pictures taken. All of them were up on the website when we returned home, ordered what I wanted and got them within 5 days. I like the idea of being able to view them...

We stayed in the Magnolia Bend section (mansions) in Arcadian house which is a nonsmoking building. Our room overlooked a quiet pool and we were only about a 3 minute walk over the bridge to the restaurant, lobby, main bus stop, etc. I don't feel there is any "bad" location on this property...

Ordered ours off 407 W disney and received the tickets about a week later. Saw Cirque New Years Eve....loved it!! Enjoy!!

Ironically, I just got an e-mail survery today from Disney on character dining. We were there at the end of Dec/beginning of January, but we were approached by a research CM in Epcot who asked us about our dining experiences and then asked if we would fill out a survey which would come to us...

We ate at Charlie's Steakhouse near Celebration in April. Pricey, but IMO one of the best steaks I've ever had. More low-key is JTs which is like a roadhouse, but they have great burgers, ribs. They also have all you can eat prime rib.
