The split between three locations during our week was perfect for us. Each location quite unique from the other - and closer to where we wanted to be. If you're more an "adventurer" I'd recommend it!

Our room was a Studio, so it was one queen and one queen sleeper-sofa. Renting points meant we got free parking (which was great since we rented a car, got there and back to the airport quickly, and was able to explore the west shore). I found using Dave's DVC site was GREAT and saved us $ over...

We went to both for dinner. The evening at Ama Ama was nice, my wife chose the Macadamia nut crusted Mahi Mahi (special that night) and I got a steak with the Kona coffee glaze. The big mistake - we BOTH got their trio of mashed potatoes (Idaho, Taro, and Sweet potato) which STUFFED us...

That photo was in Maili - just up the road a bit from the resort. A great "goodbye" to our time in the islands. This beach area had one of the most beautifully colored water I've ever seen!

Yes - although we got some of our best photos on the west coast just up the road from Aulani. A great place for a 1/2 day trip - but I'd agree, one and done.

That's a question we asked ourselves after our trip - and it's tough. Though we're die-hard Disney people, we REALLY enjoyed "resort-hopping" during our trip. It gave us different perspectives of the islands. Staying in Waikiki gave us a feel for the busy, fast, and fun city experience - staying...

Yep! We laughed - the difference between the price of this room and a comparable hotel-style room was enough to extend our stay and shopping that week! We were only in the room at night, so we'd often say "what view?" Loved every minute there!

Our itinerary have us flying in from another island early one morning and arriving before check-in (around 9:00am) and we'll be leaving our last day late in the evening (leaving around 9:00pm). Will we get a wristband for both days? I expect to have our luggage checked in and wait on our room...

So we bought our points on Dave's site. Do we still have to pay for parking?

It will just be the two of us - we're only spending one night at Aulani between flights. The cost of parking there at the resort is about $30, right? There's got to be a more economical way of getting us to and from the airport for less than $100, isn't there?

OK Aulani experts - what's the cheapest, best way to go between the airport and Aulani? ...and go...

B BTW - A BIG "thank you" for the reminder - I got a studio DVC for about $275 less than the hotel room! Once again the DIS boards are worth their weight in gold!!! :disrocks:
