You don't want to cruise DCL for Alaska. You don't want to be on any of the large cruise ships, because they are very limited in the waters they sail.
There is one line with smaller ships that get in waters that are not accessible by the larger ones. You get to see MUCH more (with or without...
I disagree with the people who say a 4 day cruise is not worth it.
We've done 3, 4, and 7 day cruises (not all with DCL). I think a 4 day cruise can be just the right length, especially for younger kids.
The people who talked about expense of getting there do have a point. We get very...
Why are you in your cabin so much?
We had a veranda cabin once....walked out when we first got to the cabin... Never went out again.
All other cruises we purposely get an inside cabin to save money (and use that money to see and do other things!). When we cruise, we are only in the cabin...
The print tickets worked fine, but didn't save us any time (still waited almost 40 minutes to get in).
I did put them in a ziplock bag just in case.
I also printed out an additional copy for everyone that we kept in the car, just in case they got too wet, etc.. You can print as many...
We were in Florida visiting my father. We decided to drive up to Orlando and spend a day at Islands of Adventure. We had never been to Islands of Adventure, nor have we been to Universal Studios. We went on Tuesday.
I purchased and printed tickets online to save time. It still took us about 40...
Thank you!
We're taking our 10 yr old son since he is so into Harry Potter right now.
I kind of thought it would be ridiculous to purchase a ticket that included both parks for one day this time of year. I guess we'll just have as much fun at this one park.
I appreciate the input :)
We are planning on going to Islands of Adventure tomorrow.
1. How early does the park open?
2. Is there just one parking lot for both parks, or is there one just for Islands of Adventure? (I assume there will be signs?)
3. Can we spend a full day at this park? (Is there enough to do?)
So paying the $2.15 surcharge to print tickets, or pick up at kiosk, is worth the little extra money?
If so, would you recommend picking them up at a kiosk, or printing them at home?
Thank you!
Also, when does the park open? We'll be going to Islands of Adventure for the day.
If I order tickets online through Universal....
1. Can I pick them up when I get there?
2. If I can pick them up, is there an "on call" window to go to?
3. Does it save any time over just purchasing them once at the park?
Thank you!
We've never been to Universal (We're big Disney fans), but we're thinking about going over for a day while visiting my father in Florida.
Can we purchase multi-day Universal tickets that never expire (like for Disney)? I purchased 10 day Disney park hopper never expire tickets for my family...
We had mostly stayed at moderate resorts (6 stays) and deluxe (2 stays).
The last time we went was over spring break (had previously said that I would never go to WDW during spring break!!!!). We ended up staying at a value resort for the first time. We were at POP and had a great time! It...
We've done two 4 day trips to Disney (with other shorter trips thrown in...). All 4 consecutive days, non-stop, morning until close. We don't vacation at Disney...that's what my parent's house on a golf course is for down in Venice (beach time, etc.). When we go to Disney, we DO Disney.
Is it...
