Stateroom 2002 - Will we be sorry?

We stayed in cabin 2004. We loved it. We had heard that it was considered a "noisy" cabin, but did not notice any noise that was out of the ordinary. I would stay in 2004 again anytime. I'm sure you'll love 2002.. Have a great time!

COST of DCL out of control?

I think I have to agree.. We absolutely love DCL, but the prices are just getting out of control. We are seriously thinking of RCCL for our Fall 2007 cruise. It's a 9 day cruise for over $1,000.00 less than a DCL 7 day cruise. I know lots of people who have cruised RCCL and love it too...

    Birthday gifts/Castaway Cay

The banana boat was awesome. I highly recommend it. I went with DH, DS 11, DD8, DN15 and DN 12.. We all had a great time. We loved being so close to the ship. There were people standing on decks and on their balconies waving to us. Three words of advice, HOLD ON TIGHT!!! You'll love it...

    Category 9

We cruised twice in category 9, deck 2. We stayed in 2004 and 2016. We loved both cabins. 2004 is listed as a "noisy" room which we did not find at all. You'll love category 9. Have fun..

What age for child/adult menus for older kids?

That won't be a problem at all. My DS 11 ordered off the adult menu 90% of the time. He especially loved lobster night.. My dd 8 also ordered off the adult menu.. she too loved lobster night!! Tell your DS to enjoy all the great food!!

We LOVE DCL - Will RCCL disappoint us?

We have cruised DCL twice and loved it both times. But, we have heard that RCCL could be alot less expensive. We are thinking of cruising RCCL next.. we aren't sure yet. Does anyone know if RCCL has a sail away party like DCL? Thanks..

    Deck Two noisy?

On our first Disney Cruise in 11/03, we stayed in cabin #2004. It was listed in the passporter as a "noisy room".. We loved it. We didn't hear any noise and thought the location was just fine. We stayed in cabin #2016 on our last cruise in 11/05 and loved that cabin as well. We would not...

    Deck 2....

We cruised on the Magic twice. The first cruise was in 11/03 and we were in cabin 2004. We just returned from our second cruise in 11/05 and were in cabin 2016. We love deck 2. Both cabins had a great big porthole that both my kids loved. Every morning they would jump out of bed and sit on...

    Waitlist for Early Dining

We cruised 11/5/05 and were told all along that we were waitlisted for 1st seating. My TA would call often, but was told that there still was no availability for 1st. We resorted ourselves to the fact that we had 2nd seating and when we checked in, found out that we had been assigned to 1st...

    Is DCL Quality Slipping?

We just returned from the 11/5-11/12 Western cruise on the Magic and thought the service was fantastic. I guess it does depend on who you have. Our server, Louis, was wonderful. He made us laugh so much. Our Assistant Server, Michelle, was so sweet. We miss them!!! We sailed with a bunch...

    New Boarding Procedures?

I thought I read somewhere that castaway club members were allowed on the ship before people who haven't cruised b/4. Is this still true? 6 days & counting!!! :dancer:
