I just booked GF Garden view for the first week of December. Could the group kindly suggest their recommendations for which building, etch to request. Thanks so much!
I have Fantasmic Friday night and then heading over to MK. With it being a holiday weekend, what are the chances the park closing due to full capacity? I don't know how often that has happened or if that's ever been the case during a 24hr event.
I've stayed here several times in the month of Dec...and just recently this month. Both times rate as been around $500 courtyard view. Any idea when this resort has the best rates? I love staying here for the convenience, but thinking DLH might be just as convenient for less money. Thanks!
You receive a voucher in your travel package. There are 3 locations within the parks you then redeem the voucher for pin and lanyard. Since I booked last minute, Disney travel had my waiting at Grand Californian front desk versus shipping to my house.
I wanted to stay at the Dolphin for a week, but they did not show availability for the full time I was going. So I booked what was available and remaining days at the Poly. I happen to look last night, and those previously unavailable dates are now available! I then booked those dates and...
I personally LOVE the Hyatt Islandia. The higher the floor you are in this hotel the better!!! One side overlooks the ocean with no obstructions....and the other side of this hotel overlooks the marina, coronado island bridge and sea world firewords at night.
You can sit on your balconey...
We always did DL for 3-4 days and San Diego 2-3 days....in that order. We found it nice to end our trip with San Diego because it can be more relaxing there.
DL can be crowded, lines to wait, etc. I find SanDiego a bit more laid back, and the perfect way to unwind.
Thank you!!! Thank you!!! How awesome all of you are for all your help! These are perfect! That is why I love these boards....you put out a problem, and POOF all of you come to the rescue. If now only we all on the DIS boards start world peace! :cool1:
Plus I am also trying to convince Nathaniel (fiancee) that disney IS magical. he is not as excited as me
Well.....I can relate. It was kind of my mission this trip to show him what you are trying to show Nathaniel. The 1st night at Chef Mickey's did NOT help. Not to mention our horrid stay...
LOL ~ No....I don't think there is. Most people that behave like this and/or allow their children behave like this, are oblivious of having courtesy for others. It would have been nice to see if the Poly did say something to them. I was hoping at least out of embarassment of being confronted...
Sooo....sorry that happened to you. I would have to say....this was our only bad experience also at any Disney Resort. I just wish it wasn't to the extent we experienced. It was almost like I wanted to say....."AM I ON CANDID CAMERA???? CAUSE THIS IS NOT FUNNY"!!!
At WDW....I had stayed at...
DH and I went to Chef Mickey's our 1st night....and did NOT like it. I think the enviornment was more geared towards families w/children. I have been to other character meals, but I was shocked how LOUD it was. Plus alot of kids running around. The atmosphere just seemed overly busy, and...
Great!!! I will try those suggestions! Thanks a bunch!
I really should have gotten one, but I didn't want to give in to yet another impulse purchase!!! LOL!
I had hit the front desk button on the phone. I had assumed I was speaking to the front desk. And if I wasn't....they SHOULD have relayed my many complaints.
But....after our 1st night of our stay, I did go personally to the front desk also each day after. We spoke personally at the front...
thank you...it's like the charm bracelet listed there...however, the overall cost might be $30+ dollard. The chain was about $7.00 and you then got to pick from over 30+ charms.
Hi all ~
Was wondering if anyone found a site/place that sells the Disney bracelets and charms like they sell at WDW that you can build yourself. I'm not referring to the Italian charms.
I should have gotten one when we went to WDW :guilty:
Thanks!!!
