Disney Magic October 10,2022 Halloween Cruise to Canada & Maine

My husband and I will be on this sailing too! We will be celebrating our 30th anniversary and my completion of chemo for breast cancer. I booked this last year, before cancer was part of my life. Planning for spending the weekend in NYC and booking shore excursions this week have given me a much...

Soooo, I'm lost, a bit dazed, a little confused

My family went for our second trip to Disneyland (the previous being 8 years ago) two weeks ago. We live in the southeastern US, so we go to Disney World much more frequently. If you are used to the frantic planning required for WDW and the frantic pace once you're there, you will be so...

    blue bayou report july 18th

Thank you so much! It will be magical just being at DL on my birthday. And I know that there will be no shortage of birthday treat options. I may have to have more than one!

    blue bayou report july 18th

We're eating at BB for my 50th birthday the first week of August. Now I wish I'd ordered a cake! I didn't because I've always found the standard celebration cakes at Disney World to be just meh. (Custom cakes are fabulous!) I looked back at my reservation, and there doesn't appear to be a way to...

    Will Disney Hotels Accept Deliveries?

Thanks! I called DLH and talked to bell services. They told me that they will accept deliveries, but the refrigerator is first come, first served for space.

    Will Disney Hotels Accept Deliveries?

I am planning to have some snack boxes (charcuterie style) delivered for my stay at the Disneyland Hotel. Will the front desk/guest services accept my delivery and hold if I'm in the park when it arrives? I know that Disney World hotels will, but I don't know about DL. Does anyone have...

    Breakfast at Disneyland

I'm not sure if any of you are aware of the Facebook group Ear for Each Other. It was started to allow laid off/furloughed cast members advertise their side businesses so that we super Disney fans could help them continue to provide for themselves and their families. I'm not as familiar with...

August - beat the heat tips

We will be there August 3-7! We have only been to Disneyland once before (We're WDW regulars), and that was in the month of June. We found it to actually be cool in the mornings and evenings. We would take a break from the parks after lunch. We'd swim, rest, and recharge and then go back for...

Has anyone had success booking dining? I mean......for the love of churros!

Looks like Downtown Disney restaurants reservations are open for the first week of August. I just got Uva for August 5. I've never eaten there, but the menu looks great! Any input from you local experts?

Any tips to getting through to Hotel Reservations on the phone??

I was on hold for 1 hour, 20 minutes last week when the discount for DLH came out. It saved me over $550, so it was worth it, but I certainly wish the Disneyland website was as self-service friendly as the Disney World site.

Zero dining reservations? What am I doing wrong?

Have you tried requesting a specific time instead of choosing "lunch" or "dinner" when checking availability? For some weird reason, that sometimes makes a difference. And, unlike WDW, they don't release all restaurants at 60 days. I'm going the first week of August. I was able to get Blue Bayou...

What do you think park capacity will be the first week of August?

My family will be there. Please let us in, then spray away! :)

    Reservations Question

My family is coming in August, staying at the DLH with park hopper tickets. I was able to make park reservations before I paid off my package. I had to go to the website, not app, and go to My Disneyland. Pull up My Hotel Reservations. From there, I had a button to Make Theme Park Reservations...

Has anyone had success booking dining? I mean......for the love of churros!

I'm so glad to read that others are having issues too! I thought that all open restaurants would show their availability at 6 am EDT 60 days out. Blue Bayou was the big one I wanted for my 50th birthday on August 4, and I got that one. However, when I looked today for CA, there was nothing...

    San Francisco Hotel?

My family stayed at the Argonaut. It is at the edge of Fisherman's Wharf, but not in the middle of the really crowded area. It's very close to Ghiradelli Square, a cable car turnabout, and a maritime national park. It's easy walking down to Pier 39 area. The hotel itself is an old Dole Peach...

DLP - Do you speak English? Parlez Vous Anglais? - Wrapped up 9/30

I just joined in, as as I just booked my family's first trip to DLP for early next June. We will be in Paris first, and I LOVE your family photo! We'll be celebrating our daughter's college graduation and our son's high school graduation. I'd love to capture that with some professional...

    Early 2020 Offer

This weekend I booked the package for 2 nights the first week of June at the Disneyland Hotel for 25% off. First try gave me 5% off. I checked several more times and got 25%.

I am about to cancel California Grill Brunch for 12:10 on August 4. I was able to secure an earlier time.

California Grill Brunch or Yachtsman Dinner?

Sounds like brunch it is! I’d been trying for an ADR as soon as we booked this impromptu trip three weeks ago. One just popped up today! It’s a little later than I’d prefer, but I’ll take what I can get! Thanks for all of your input.
