Heather, you will love the ease of it. I really liked that we could get up in the morning, take a walk by the Wonder and finding our veranda, have the bell man take our bags from our room for us. It made boarding so easy. Just a quick ride elevator ride down and you're there.

We stayed at The Pan Pacific when we sailed in 2011. I agree it is price, but the convenience of having our bags taken from our room and not having do deal with them again until we unpacked in our cabin was wonderful. And just an elevator ride down to the terminal was nice too.

Not to original poster, but I moved an Aug 2013 Alaska to this one because of Sitka. The reason I want this port is because I want to see the Sea Otters. They were on my wildlife bucket list from our cruise in 2011 and we saw everything but otters and they are my favorite.

We did the WB Panama in 2008 and, if I remember correctly, we had like 400. we did break it out into groups, and each group chose 1 gift to give. My group did a dry erase magnet w/pen and our logo on the bottom. Mine is still on my fridge. :goodvibes
