We're hoping to go to Cocoa Beach for the dayand I was wondering if anyone can recommend someplace good....somewhere with a beach atmosphere...and casual? I thought that while over on the Coast we would also try and see a cruise ship or two launch...has anyone done this? Any suggestions?

It is magnificent, enormous, with 6 pools and waterfalls, palm trees and many restaurants, including a Japanese steak house, Italian restaurant, sports bar, Starbucks and more...the service was great and it was beautiful! Best of all I got it through priceline for $50.!

Try Priceline...last year my family and I stayed at the Marriott World Center for less than $50. per night in August! The large pool there is gorgeous and there are many hottubs, not to mention ayt least 4 other pools, including 1 indoor pool and many excellent restaurants for 2 adults!
