    Is there an archive?

I found it, not with the search function but by painstakingly browsing through old threads. I discovered that there is no "archive" per se, but that the board still has threads going all the way back to 2002. You simply have to tell it to disply all threads going back to the beginning...

    Is there an archive?

I am looking for a trip report I posted four years ago. It does not come up when I search. Is there an archive I can access?

St. Maarten - what to see and do

Don't know what "brand." Just some local outfit on the pier. As for car seats...we went with the local laws. In other words, we didn't use any. Our youngest was 4, so by U.S. standards it was a bit risky, but we threw caution to the wind and had a great day. Also, I declined the insurance...

Soccer on TV at Disney restaurants

Hopefully this will bump this thread up to the main page... Does anyone know where my sons and I can watch some televised soccer matches in the WDW area? The US is in the Gold Cup, and there are some Euro 2008 matches we'd love to watch. Unfortunately, the TV coverage is not on ESPN, but...

    Talk to me about Wine..

That doesn't apply to cruise ships...only airplanes. The carry-on luggage you bring on board the cruise ship can include as much liquid as you like.

St. Maarten - what to see and do

St. Martin was the best day on our cruise! We avoided the official excursions at both St. Thomas and St. Martin as I thought they were way overpriced. On St. Martin, we simply walked off the boat with no plans. We ended up renting an open-top jeep for the day and had a blast! We had...

    Talk to me about Wine..

Its been over 2 years since our cruise, but we had our van driver stop at a store in Orlando on our way to Port Canaveral and bought lots of wine to bring on board. We packed it carefully in our carry-on luggage to avoid breakage. We did not have a veranda. We just asked for wine glasses at...

Thanks, Booknut. That was exactly what I was looking for.

Preparing for WDW trip...looking for a video

I'm trying to find a video of a commercial that Disney ran a few years ago. Wondering if anyone remembers it. It has a surprise twist at the end, and the first time I saw it I laughed out loud. I'm wondering if its availaible somewhere on-line. I'll try to describe it from memory as best as...

No more Tennant's Lager at Rose and Crown!

OK, so there is a microbrew...that's a definate stop for me. One more question. Do other restaurants serve the beers brewed at Big River, or are they onlyl available there? And, are there any other local beers/ales/stouts served at WDW restaurants? ...OK, that was two questions. So sue me.

No more Tennant's Lager at Rose and Crown!

I'm a beer lover, so this thread caught my eye. I prefer something fresh and local rather than an import. Are there good microbrews available on Disney property?

    The "Lack of Imagination Generation"

I think this generation is, indeed, the "lack of imagination generation." I think its because they are the "video game and DVD generation." Everything has always been so visual and immediate for them. I notice this when I try to interest my kids in some of the early Disney movies...the...

    Car vs Disney Transport

At today's oil prices, I think the days of $59 airfare from St. Louis to Orlando are over. We have 5 kids, so with my wife and I that makes a total of 7 airline tickets we'd have to buy. Fare is going to have to be awfully low to make that possible. But when SW posts their fares for June...

    Car vs Disney Transport

Thanks, guys, this has been very helpful. My conclusion: If we get good airfare, we'll take it and not worry about being without a vehicle. If no good airfares come available, we'll drive to WDW but the van may sit unused in the resort parking lot much of the time.

    Car vs Disney Transport

Thanks. Can you tell me more? Is MK the only resort where Disney Transport is quicker, or are their others? Is the difference significant? We are planning a trip for June of 2006, and are wondering about driving or flying down from the midwest (St. Louis). The biggest determining factor...

    Car vs Disney Transport

In another thread, a someone mentioned that they chose to drive from their WDW resort to the parks, rather than using Disney Transportation. Which is generally quicker? I realize that people have different temperments...some can't stand to wait for a bus and hate relying on someone else to...
