    200 posts!!!!

What a sad world we live in when people spamming a message board xxx number of times is something to be celebrated. Face it. If you spoke to your “Real Life” friends and told them that you had reached a post count landmark / milestone (SIC!) on an internet message board, would they be impressed...

    200 posts!!!!

Really? 47 months on the boards with a join date of Jan 2003. Devide 30,317 posts by 47 months = 645 posts per month Devide that 645 by 30 days month makes around 21 posts a day. So it's not that far from a post for every single hour you've been a member on the board. Not addicted...

    200 posts!!!!

Agreed. As in people posting about how many posts they've made? The reaction is as expected, just like the denials that an alcoholic would make if you told them they were drinking too much or a gambler on their 16th bet of the day. Spam +1

    200 posts!!!!

I still don’t get why post counts are something to feel elated about. Personally speaking, I think post counts should be removed from message boards as they only serve to encourage meaningless / worthless spam as people strive (sic) to reach their next post count “milestone”. I find it amazing...

    Westridge, Davenport ?? HELP!!

I've stayed on Westridge on the last two visits and it's a very nice, quiet location. However, my experience that it is just too far from the I-Drive area. The road works on the 192 / I4 don't help but on some occasions that fabled "15 minutes to WDW" was over an hour - and this was in a...

    Favorite Christmas Film

Die Hard ... Now I have a machine gun. Ho-Ho-Ho. Guns. C4. Explosions. Bruce Willis being cooked in the air conditioning vent like a dirty-vested turkey, shooting terrorists, giving grief to the Police and saving the day. What more could you possibly want from a Christmas movie?

    What's on your Christmas menu?

Sausages and humbugs. Lots of bah-humbug.

Buying DS games online from US??

I use DVD Box Office for DVD's and games. It's Canadian based (so the exchange rate isn't as good as the USA) but it's a reliable site and I've only had good service from them. One neat item on their site is the ability to change currency displays - so you get to see what you'll be paying in £'s...

    Arggh Sky

Changing a HDD in a Sky+ box is easy ... I'd give it a go before paying £65 for one of their muppets to come out.

    Do you like wrapping presents?

Nope. It's about as interesting as watching an episode of Pokemon. Anyway, its like the art of Christmas / Birthday card writing - that's why men get married so that the women can do it. ;)

    Name Help!

A bit shallow eh? Pray tell, how many chief exec's are called Wayne? I don't seem to recall a government minister (or even an MP) with a non-standard name. Oh, and it seems that teachers must be shallow too.

    Name Help!

For the love of all that is good, do not choose a name with a "wacky" spelling like Jorjah instead of Georgia or Nathyn instead of Nathan. Don't these people realise how stupid it makes them and their children look? Oh ... and avoid names blatantly taken from American soaps like Tyler, Brandon...

    Unemployment Benefits - RANT

Many a true word spoken in jest? That's just it, if you start taking as soon as you can the system allows it to continue. If you start paying in they make it difficult to get it back. Our friends parents have become ill; one has chronic arthritis and the other had a major stroke. They're...
