Points for rent: 47 pts $8 per point.

Hi I'd be interested in 142 points for the BWV preferred studio from 8/28/09 to 9/5/09. Are these still available? Thanks!

    Saratoga Springs Grand Stand Question

Anyone ever stay in the 9000 section of the grand stand? My sister's family is down there now and we'll be joining them on Saturday, so I was just wondering if anyone had stayed in that part of the resort and what they liked/disliked about the location. On the map it looks like it's far from...

    Suggestions?

Crystal Palace definitely has kid-friendly options. And if you're in the park, you can do a late lunch/early dinner (which has awesome desserts, including an ice cream machine and sprinkles). We've always enjoyed their lunch buffet; it's a beautiful restaurant, yet festive for the kids.

Suggestions for delicious, healthy, less fattening meals

Thank you for all the suggestions. We actually eat at Boma and the Tangierine Cafe often. We've always loved Tusker House (that was my favorite TS before it changed over). I know it's possible to eat healthy anywhere, as we're pretty conscienscious, but I was looking for specific healthy...

    School Bread

When we've had it, it's always been the Bavarian cream. It is absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Three more days until our favorite Epcot dessert!

Flying scaredy cat has embarrassing question!

You guys are the BEST!!! Thank you sooo much for all of your help and reassurance. My BF keeps asking me if I'm excited about our trip and I keep saying that I will be as soon as we land. I know it's irrational and that flying is a very safe mode of transportation, but I can't help my...

Suggestions for delicious, healthy, less fattening meals

I know I'm crazy, but somehow I've deluded myself into thinking I may actually be able to curtail my annual Disney weight gain this year (even though I think most of the reason we return every year is to EAT)! I was just wondering what dishes have blown you away without blowing you up!

Flying scaredy cat has embarrassing question!

This has actually been recommended to me, but I'm afraid of how the pills will affect me (sometimes I have weird reactions to prescription drugs). Also, I wonder if my nerves would "fight through" the calming effects of the pills if I were landing during such inclement weather! I'm really...

Margaritas and Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros

I didn't know this was a "tradition" and took a margarita on the ride last August (after the change). Nobody stopped me, but I really did it accidentally (or maybe it was an alcohol-induced accident)! I laughed about how nobody stopped me after the ride (although, I was probably giggling at...

Flying scaredy cat has embarrassing question!

Do they land flights during thunderstorms? We're flying in on Southwest on Saturday around 5:30 pm and I know from being a Disney August vacationer that thunderstorms are frequent during the Florida afternoons. I hate flying to begin with and know that if I have to land in a thunderstorm I...

    Fort Wilderness Horses?

Thanks so much for the info! For riding novices, would these be tame, manageable rides?

    Fort Wilderness Horses?

Several years ago we were granted an extra day at the WL due to an impending hurricane. That day we didn't have passes for the parks, so we took a stroll to the Fort Wilderness camp grounds. While we were there, we were able to visit horses housed in their stables. Does anyone know if this is...

How do you get an upgrade?

We've paid for upgrades to club level at AKL (at check in at a discounted rate) and have also been surprised by an upgrade (last year at CBR to a preferred room). On the flip side, we've paid for a water view that turned out to be a view of a dumpster and a mud puddle at best! This year...

Tip on buying beer at resorts

Last time we ordered from Garden Grocer, in addition to a few cases of beer, we requested a few (okay, more than a few) bottles of liquor. I think we had to describe the types and sizes of the bottles we wanted in the comments section. We stayed in phone contact after we landed to give them...

Journey to the Center of the Earth

We thought this was so boring, we actually left! I can't remember the last time I went to a movie that was so bad we couldn't take it any more!

    Info on Adventurer's Club?

The last time we visited the Adventurer's Club, my DD's were 12 and 14 and I think we had taken them once prior to that (maybe the preceding year). The humor was sort of lost on them when they were younger (10 and 12), and if I knew then what I know now, I probably would not have taken them at...

Have these rides made you feel sick?

Reluctantly tried TOT and NEVER again! I have never been so uncomfortable on a ride (but I really don't like the dropping sensation). EE - rode twice. First time I wasn't sick at all. The 2nd time during the backward portion, I definitely felt ill. I was really surprised, as I don't...
