For the past 2 yrs we have just driven to Cocoa Beach (abt 1.5 hrs away), spent the day and then headed back to our hotel. Would you consider just a day trip as an option? Our kids love it - it's a nice relaxing day, yet we can still head back for more Disney!! :wizard:

Just adding my input. We were there 4/12 - 4/17. I requested and got Cabana 9B. :cool1: No towel animals, but mousekeepimg did do fun things with dks stuffed animals a few days. :)

Need help quick - no time to look thru all 18 pages of the best off-site restaurant thread. We are looking for an awesome seafood restaurant in the Dis area or near Cocoa Beach - preferably not a chain restaurant like Red Lobster since we have that here. :) TIA for any help! :)

We pre-paid for next week. I am nervous and hope there are no issues. We are paying $280 for a mini van for 6 days - that's with all of the fees, taxes AND a car seat rental. I'll post when I get back on the 17th and let you know if we had any problems. :)
