Passport needed for 3 day cruise?

Hey everyone! I'll apologize in advanced because I'm sure this has been asked several times before, but my search button wouldn't bring anything up!! My mom and I are going on the three day cruise in late October and neither of us have up to date passports! I know on some cruise lines a...

    Staying onboard during Nassau day

Just got back today from the three night cruise and we decided to stay onboard during Nassau! It was great to just relax by the pool and enjoy the day! The Adult pool was quiet but also had some great pool games going! It was very enjoyable :)

    Chances for Palo

Hi everyone! I thought I had made reservations at Palo for our cruise starting tomorrow! Unfortunately, something happened and the reservation was not made. It didn't look like there was any availability a few days ago when I looked online, but was told that I could go and see when on...

    Top Layer of Cake Question

We only stayed about three days at Disney after our wedding, but kept it refrigerated! Once we got home (in Orlando) we double wrapped it in saran wrap, then foil, then put it in a few freezer safe zip lock bags. After a year it was still the best cake we ever ate!! Granted, they got the...

Which ceremony transport did/will you use?

We were going to be using a limo, but at the end DF surprised me with the carraige! We originally cut it out due to our budget, but I had always wanted to use it! It was an unbelievable experience and I'm so glad we did! Now, I have no clue what it costs now, but I don't think I would say...

Who did/will you tip at your DFTW?

I would say if they do a good job to tip a little bit, but if it's not outstanding service, I think it's fine if you don't :) We tipped the limo, DJ (Scooter--awesome!), and officiant (Jack Day, because we just loved him),

    Help with cake flavours

We only requested to try the peanut butter filling and Im so glad we did!!! It was the best flavor! We ended up having: *chocolate cake with peanut butter filling (bottom and anniversary layer!) *marble cake with white chocolate filling (this was more of a pudding consistancy which made...

there are 3 Grad Nights during our stay...

Disney Grad Nite 2008 dates are: April 18th April 19th April 25th April 26th I disagree with the statement that Grad Nite does not affect the resorts much! It greatly affects them, especially this year! I would not switch away from Pop Century as groups typically do not book there...

Help! Lisa Pena or Beaute Special?

I used Lisa and while my hair turned out..OK...it wasn't exactly what I asked for! She was a nice lady, but if you decide to use her---tell her exactly what you are looking for and even try to show her as many pictures as possible! She tends to do the same, cookie-cutter type of hairstyle on...

<><> The "Official" DISNEY RECIPE Exchange! <><> 1850+ recipes!

Thank you so much for all of these recipes; I can't wait to make them all! :) Does anyone have the recipe for the Breakfast Pocket from Fountain View Bakery? To my dismay, our favorite breakfast location has closed and I would love to make the breakfast pocket for DH! Thanks in advance!

The CP....The Good, the Bad, and the downright Ugly. ( Updated )

That's true, but anyone who hasn't been a CP, try not to be discouraged from applying!! A lot of the people that were around me, working as PI's (including myself) did not have CP experience! So it is possible!!

What happens when they get the contract?

When they get the contract, your Sales Manager will do whatever she has to do with the contract and deposit and then turn it over to one of the services managers. Once they have turned it over to whomever you will be working with, they will call you for an introduction! The planning process...

    Questions about Disney Professional Internships

I worked Monday - Friday 8:30 - 5:30 with an hour lunch break! :) Pretty much the same as I do now--the hours seem to depend on the department within the building!

    Questions about Disney Professional Internships

I wish I could say I was making 600.00 per week when I was a PI, but the wages really vary. They are considerably higher than those for the CP, but it really does depend on what department you are going into. The management internships get paid much more than the others!! Great program and...

The CP....The Good, the Bad, and the downright Ugly. ( Updated )

I just want to mention something as someone just coming off of the professional internship program. It is a great program and it does get you a foot in the door, I think, more than the CP would...however, it definitely does not start you off as a manager unless you are doing the management...

    Randy Chapman vs Disney Photo

Any outside photographer is allowed to do receptions inside a park. If you are thinking of an engagement shoot or any other type of photographic occassion, then no, he isn't. However, Disney allows outside photographers for in-park weddings!
