At what they're charging for Deluxe rooms (and apparently getting it), I understand this perk, but I don't have to like it. I wouldn't mind paying extra for this perk as a value resort customer this time around.

Generally, I give people the benefit of the doubt, don't mind family members catching up with other family members. But if I see that it is blatant me first line cutting, then I loudly remind them that there is a line.

The answer is, it depends. When we were younger, no, would not care. However, at age 58, yes, it's definitely worth it. We do enough walking at the parks, we don't need to do it at the resort also.

Another vote for Dunes Village. Nice, clean, and very well run.

My recommendation would be the All Stars. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The pools are excellent, especially for kids, and the food courts have good variety. Posted from DISboards.com App for Android

Ditto nixing the bus and subway. Since you will have luggage, take a cab or hire a car service ahead of time. You'll be glad you did.

I never heard of that. I do know that in the Stitch ride, they mention that Stitch showed up at Cinderella's Castle, but she turned him away.

BTW this Walmart is also excellent for souvenirs. Last drip down this past Summer we got great t-shirts and towels here - the same ones as they had in the park, but for a fraction of the park price.

Having stayed at both, I can say that while POR is nice, especially for a moderate, for us WL is the winner hands down. It's more intimate and relaxing. You can go to the pier and see the Electric Water Pageant. The ferry to MK is wonderful.
