Extended evening hours for DVC & Deluxe Guests only starting Oct

At what they're charging for Deluxe rooms (and apparently getting it), I understand this perk, but I don't have to like it. I wouldn't mind paying extra for this perk as a value resort customer this time around.

    Resort rates are kinda ridiculous

We just booked Pop Century for April 2022. At first, I was considering going back to the WL, our favorite resort, but not at $700+/night. Right now, with the Skyliner, Pop is the best bang for the buck in terms of room and transportation. Heck, we even splurged for preferred rooms so we're...

Please Bring Back Parking Lot Trams

Preferred parking, another expense. What's next, preferred restrooms?

I didn't realize how excited I would be about this! Can't wait to try out the Skyliner.

If only I were closer to retirement, I would certainly drive a tram.. :car:

    Line Cutting

Generally, I give people the benefit of the doubt, don't mind family members catching up with other family members. But if I see that it is blatant me first line cutting, then I loudly remind them that there is a line.

Would you pay extra for a preferred room at Pop Century?

The answer is, it depends. When we were younger, no, would not care. However, at age 58, yes, it's definitely worth it. We do enough walking at the parks, we don't need to do it at the resort also.

Where you buy your tickets and Fastpass

Silly question perhaps. We just booked Pop Century in April 2022 (Yay!) room only. Looking at park tickets, I can buy them directly from WDW, or save $123. by buying from a reputable outside ticket vendor (used them once long ago). Assuming some form of fast pass returns, will this affect my...

When life hands you lemons, stay Value???

My recommendation would be the All Stars. The rooms are quiet and comfortable. The pools are excellent, especially for kids, and the food courts have good variety. Posted from DISboards.com App for Android

When life hands you lemons, stay Value???

Yes, the values are definitely worth it. In some ways, in fact, there are distinct benefits to staying at a value resort. Because they are larger, the bus service is usually better than a moderate or deluxe. In addition, the food courts are larger and have a better selection. I've...

First Time DVC Point Renter Questions

Oh, one more "hepcat620 is an obvious DVC newbie" question. We're most likely going to be renting a studio. Are there washers/dryers available?

First Time DVC Point Renter Questions

Thanks Very Much for these answers, they're a great help. If I do I 5 night stay, do I have to purchase the dining plan for 6 days? 5 Days? Any number of days?

First Time DVC Point Renter Questions

Hi Folks, In the past, we've always stayed in regular hotel rooms, both on and off property. This year we are going to try something different - renting points from a DVC member. I've got a few questions that I know folks here can answer: - Is there any other cost/fee, other than the...

    World of Disney NYC

Ditto nixing the bus and subway. Since you will have luggage, take a cab or hire a car service ahead of time. You'll be glad you did.

Where is Stitch Hiding around the castle??

I never heard of that. I do know that in the Stitch ride, they mention that Stitch showed up at Cinderella's Castle, but she turned him away.

    Wal-Mart ?????

BTW this Walmart is also excellent for souvenirs. Last drip down this past Summer we got great t-shirts and towels here - the same ones as they had in the park, but for a fraction of the park price.

Family Voted-Wilderness Lodge or POR/POFQ-WHICH of the 2 is your FAV?

Having stayed at both, I can say that while POR is nice, especially for a moderate, for us WL is the winner hands down. It's more intimate and relaxing. You can go to the pier and see the Electric Water Pageant. The ferry to MK is wonderful.
