Resort Offering 3 bed set up?

I'm planning a trip in 5/2008 where I will be going down with my fiancee, her mother and her aunt. I was hoping to find a room that had 2 double / queen sized bed and a pull out sofa (like a 1 BR set up in one of the villas) ... It appears that they don't offer this. The aunt and mother want...

    30 Years of WDW Service

There is a CM in Fantasyland who is the only person I know there since MK opened. He wears the official 'Magic Kingdom Opening Day' pin. He loves his job.

    MGM crowds

The 2nd show isn't very crowded. ToT and Coaster will be crowded because that's by far the most popular attraction there. Muppets, Star Tours, Great Movie Ride, Mermaid are all pretty empty.

Stop by Guest Relations; they have a variety of special occasion pins.

    CM pin question

We cannot display non-Disney pins on our lanyards. There are restrictions on any type of pin we can place on the uniform. We were recently allowed to wear an American flag post-2001. Anything else is technically not 'The Disney Look'

How come WDW does not have a express ride line for their Resort guests like Universal

Disney has so many hotel guests on property that an express line would probably go slower than a non-express line.

    CMs taught how to autograph?

Yes, you are trained and have to practice. Its not just characters who receive the training; hospitality staff takes the training so they can sign things for guests as a way to 'make magic' if we find out a guest likes a particular character or upon request.

    Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular

I work at this attraction and there is no reason to close it. We fill our shows consistently and future plans for new rides do not involve our park space, as far was we know, at this time.

Whats the reasoning behind January weekend pricing?

Holiday weekend = time off for the schools. Park attendance is above value season populations.

What is going on at MGM 3/13/07?

Someone probably bought out the park. It happens with corporations who have a lot of money!

Busted for spreading magic at Epcot!

Given the topic of this thread, I was wondering to myself ... what CM would discourage spreading the magic? I'm glad that wasn't the situation.

Is it me, or is MGM really lame?

I hear this a lot working at the park. I think in order to enjoy MGM, you have to realize its not a 'ride' park. There's only a few rides, and if you don't like thrill rides, you're out of luck. Explore the shows, talk to the streetmosphere people, check out the lesser visited attraction...

    MGM Experts ~ PLEASE HELP!

Get a times guide from your hotel or when you enter the park. The mistake a lot of people make when coming to MGM is getting there too late to see all the shows. With the age of your children, I recommend Playhouse Disney, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast. The other...

    Disney In Febuary

This February we had a week where it was in the mid 40s. It was freezing. I felt bad for the tourists who came down underequipped. The CMs who are Florida natives were suffering.

FYI: "motionless" option at Star Tours

We do this at Star Tours when its very slow. Come early in the morning or late at night. Yes, the proper term is 'flight check'. Ask the CM who is working the greeter position and he can call up to tower to see how busy they are. Generally, wait time needs to be down to 5 or 0 minutes. The...
