Vacationing with the In-Laws (extended family)

Good, then I will repeat my suggestion that you take the children on your trip and suggest to your In-Laws that they take the children by themselves at a later time. If they have the children every weekend, I wouldn't think this would present a problem for you. They certainly have a lot of...

What obscure movies have you seen

Both Rocky Horror Picture Show and Barbarella are "cult classics." The God's must be Crazy is a really sweet little film that inspired a sequel, less sweet.

I agree. I think he is a very versatile and talented actor.

What obscure movies have you seen

I think that A Boy and his dog would qualify. It was well received by critics, but honestly, I think it was just awful.

Vacationing with the In-Laws (extended family)

OP, this question just occurred to me. Are you paying for your trip or are your In-Laws paying for your portion? It makes a big difference regarding the advice you will receive.

What obscure movies have you seen

With the exception of Quadrophrenia, I have seen all of these. Silent Running is a personal favorite. I think Bruce Dern is under-appreciated. Just a FYI, the director of WALL-E claims to have been influenced by this film. Forbidden Planet is, in my opinion, a groundbreaking film that...

    Purchasing a folding travel scooter

I have had no experience with the company, but would like to suggest that you purchase online for the best price. I have a Pride Elite Traveler Plus HD. I purchased it online. Pride services it's scooters no matter where you live or where you purchased your scooter. I looked at a lot of...

Vacationing with the In-Laws (extended family)

I am a great grandmother so my perspective may be different. Your In-Laws sound like very loving people. You have to understand that your In-Laws may be worried about just how long they will be physically able to do WDW. Time is precious. If you do not want your In-laws to share your...

Character Meal for a Minnie fan other than Chef Mickey's??

I had a wonderful dinner there when it had characters too!

    Liberty Tavern

I went for lunch few years ago and I have to agree, Frozen TV Dinners. The service was bad too. Sometimes I wonder if this restaurant isn't popular because it is one of the more reasonably priced TS places?

can't see the way the queue is going

Another thing that you might try is if you are refused a DAS, try a few rides and if you have a problem. go back to Guest Services and tell them why it is not working for you. They might reconsider.

The Canadian Kennel Club operates differently than the American Kennel Club.

"breeder" refuses to send AKC registration papers

It sounds like you got a lovely puppy! I bet that he will be very sweet and laid-back, not at all hyper.

"breeder" refuses to send AKC registration papers

Your breed has a much more limited gene pool than labs do. Even if Dizneefamily+4's dog were on regular registration, I believe the chances of his dog being used for stud by anyone other than himself are extremely limited. If the puppies's breeder had wanted to use him at stud, she would have...

"breeder" refuses to send AKC registration papers

I'm so sorry about your dog's chylothorax. This is first time I have heard about it in Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. Lymphangiectasia which is often the cause of it, is unfortunately, common in toy breeds.

"breeder" refuses to send AKC registration papers

I'm sure that your puppy is a wonderful example of his breed. You love him, but the hard truth is that most reputable breeders only want to breed to dogs that are AKC champions. That takes a BIG commitment. Most breeders are unwilling to give a puppy back, opting instead to pay a stud fee...

What obscure movies have you seen

I have seen it as well as many other people, at least all the members of the Academy. :rotfl2: It's on cable all the time.
