I live in Connecticut too! Mystic Area you might want to try Abbott's in the Rough - it is an iconic place in the Mystic area (technically I think it is Noank) And they have the best fudge at Franklin's General Store at Olde Mystik Village.....

Mystic, CT You have the Seaport, the Aquarium, lots of quaint shops and lots of stuff to learn about too. I am not too far from there and we are there all the time. Plus - it has Mystic Pizza from the movie! The food is ok but just to say you went there is sometimes cool!
