Just wanted to let everyone know that we are canceling this cruise...we've decided to cruise on Sept 13th on RCI Freedom of the Seas instead. We will wait until the new ships are out to cruise Disney again. Have a good time everyone!

When DD got her first one, at age 2, I signed for her. When she got hers renewed at age 7, she signed it herself.

Definite yes to the chocolate milk. But I don't think it was available at the drink station. You can get it in the dining rooms and room service for sure.

My DH was convinced that they were going through everyone's bags, because the ship had docked in Cartehena (sp?). He says they expect people to bring back drugs from Colombia :lmao: .

We just did this...got off the Magic Saturday morning, and were at Blizzard Beach by 10:30am. We even stopped by our hotel and got an early check-in and changed into swimsuits. But you will be tired at the end of that day, because you have to get up so early to get off the ship.

The special 5 night cruise starts Monday...and I'm on it! So the Magic better find a way between the 2 storms!

Target.com had bermuda shorts, that come down to my DD's knees. She has to have "long" shorts for PE also. And we are not "Mormon, Amish or Mennonite" either! :rotfl:

My guess is they would port in Tampa or Miami. It would have to be an awfully large storm to close all four ports at the same time. I think I've heard of a cruise being cancelled only once, but don't remember the specifics. Another scenario would be lengthening the cruise a day or two until...

The main reason I use it is because I have 2 family members who "misplace" stuff alot, and I spend alot of time standing around while they hunt stuff. If it is all in the clear pockets of the organizer, it's easy to see, and there is only one place to hunt for stuff. If your family is neat...

It is a special finish they spray on the concrete decking to make it cool to walk on.

You did nothing wrong...if you don't have anything to put in it, don't use it. I always hang mine on the bathroom door that has the shower in it; it doesn't bother me that it doesn't close all the way. We put key cards, lanyards, sunscreen, sunglasses, kid's club pager, ipods, cameras...

The times we have been on Deck 6 forward, our muster station was Deck 4.

OK, I'm stocking up on sea sickness meds. I knew it would be a mistake to book cabins in the front of the ship!

Thought of some more: Yes, get more than the standard decking. It seems like plenty, but trust me, it won't be. I think ours came with a standard 1000 sf of decking, and we added another 500 sf. And we have a funky shape too (3 bump kidney). Can't have an automatic cover or even a reel...

We put in a pool in 2006. If I had it to do over again, I would have them install a salt water chlorinating system. I'm the one in my house that does all the pool maintenance, and we travel alot, so it would just be so convenient to have that system in place instead of having to add chlorine...

I am so happy for all those people onboard! They must be having the time of their lives!
