What restaurants didn't live up your expectations?

Any restaurant you eat in should be free of screaming children. If a child is having a melt down just take them outside. It's basic manners!

    Animal Kingdom..Not so much.

My husband and I love AKL. We always rent a car so the seclusion of this resort is more of a plus than a minus for us. The only thing we don't like is the pool. Since there is only one there is no relaxing there. They constantly have contests and games for the kiddos. I wish there were a quiet...

Ohana or Boma - Please Help Me Decide!

Personally, I was not impressed by my only trip to O'Hana. Boma on the other hand is great. I am not a buffet person, the whole idea creeps me out but the food, service and atmosphere are outstanding. After dinner bring the kiddos outside to view the animals with night vision goggles. Love it!

    Encouragement for you Beginner Runners!

So inspirational! DH and I have been bit by the fitness bug over the past few months. We were dedicated to our workouts all through the holidays. Our eating wasn't the best but tomorrow we start clean eating for life. Thank you for showing us we can do it if we don't give up!

    A Couple of Questions.

Early December is a great time to go!. Crowds and temps are low and the parks are all done up for Christmas and its beautiful! As far as the Value resorts go you need to weigh a couple of facts: 1. Location- They are pretty far out there. The only transportation is the WDW buses which can be...

    Signature dining wow.

Wow! I feel ilke some of the responses were very rude and un-Disney like. If we can not chat happily about the Happiest Place on Earth maybe we shouldn't talk at all. I am sure all of us have a POV about some aspect of Disney we think could be better so there is no need to get hostile when we...

    Help with restaurant choices...

In AK you can get great food at Flame Tree BBQ and take it down overlooking the water. I love this spot. You can also get a picnic lunch and a map of picnic locations throughout the park. Its not gourmet but its cute! In Epcot there are so many ways to enjoy good food w/o spending a bundle...

All About the Food May 17-23, 2012

The experience you spoke of is one of several reasons I do not go to buffets. Especially in WDW. I know all the character meals are going to be loaded w/ little ones and rambunctious behavior is to be expected. They are excited and must be given a little slack but unfortunately most people don't...

    honeymoon in Disney

My DH and I celebrated our Honeymoon in 2003. We stayed at the Beach Club and loved the location. We strolled through Epcot (our fav) walked late night and early morning on the BW. It was just great. As far as Contemporary or Bay Lake I don't find it romantic. I feel its always buzzing with very...

OMG you came to the right place! DH and I love WDW and think it is so romantic. Since the word "date" means different things to different people I can give a few suggestions. Romantic and quiet:MK CA Grill then outside on their balcony for "Wishes" Pick...

    Garden Grocer or Disney's Grocer

I will be heading down to AKV w/ DH, DM, and DD. We have 2 studios and my husband and I drink tons of water and protein shakes. My DM also wanted some wine so I was thinking of ordering from a website and instead of having it shipped here I would have it shipped to AKV. I assume it would still...
