Extended Evening Hours Questions and Answers

It was open but we didn't walk all the way back there. We stuck to the front of the park only. We watched the fireworks and then went to ride stuff, and did everything we wanted to do, but you certainly could jump in a line at 9pm and skip them if you wanted.

Not sure where this post belongs but

We were there last week and it was amazing. Definitely not wall to wall people. This week is the start of Spring Breaks and it's always, always packed. Folks who research dates should know this and have a good game plan (plus pack LOTS of patience!). Ridden GOTG many times and never seen...

    Strategy for Epcot fireworks

This week, people were claiming spots along some of the fencing about an hour or so prior so it would not be odd to put down a small blanket and sit to wait. I can't imagine laying down and sleeping in the middle of a theme park, especially with the amount of people also claiming spots around...

Extended Evening Hours Questions and Answers

We just did both Epcot and MK this week! I didn't pay attention to Epcot food options but at MK a few places were open. Note: they were not noted as open in the operating hours so that is not a good way to see. I could only find out they were open by 1) they were accepting mobile orders or 2) I...

Disney's POLYNESIAN VILLAGE RESORT Information & Questions

Does anyone know if walkway to GF is open? Or do we have to monorail over?

    Gift Delivery to Room

There are a bunch of options through the Ear For Each Other Facebook group - current/former CM's that picked up new jobs during shutdowns. We did a birthday door decorating, balloons, gift baskets, cookies, birthday cakes, etc through businesses in that group. Besides door decorating, all other...

Will Disney resorts provide toddler step stools?

We have always just lifted him up, just like we do for public restrooms, other hotels, airports, cruise ships, etc. Some places have a lower sink available but most don't (esp when traveling - I can't recall a single lower sink in Europe last year). I don't even think about it anymore to be...

    Best Restaurants for picky eaters

Honestly, your best bet is scrolling the menus on the app to see what looks safe and appealing for her. I'd have her download the app and poke around in her spare time, esp since your trip is still months away. Do you know what foods she avoids? My mother doesn't have a gallbladder and she has...

    DCL cruisers tried Royal...

I haven't cruised RCCL in so many years that I can't offer any educated opinion but I can offer that the last time I sailed Disney out of Miami, it was nothing short of a nightmare and your port experience is not unique to RCCL. It was on the Dream, the transatlantic, last May. Traffic took 1+...

Big River Grill is supposedly closing

When I asked one time about fries, they said they weren't allowed to have one because of their location under the hotel :confused3 A conversation on Disney Food Blog seems similar to the one we had. If true, that will continue to be a huge issue for any casual restaurant interested in the...

Big River Grill is supposedly closing

We ate there a lot because it was easy to get into and relatively inexpensive when we stayed at a nearby hotel. I really liked their salads, and sitting on the Boardwalk. It was a bummer that they couldn't have a fryer - we missed having an option for fries and chicken fingers, esp for our picky...

    Breakfast menus

It's been a brunch menu (mix of breakfast and lunch options) for a long time - even pre-COVID, if I recall.

    fort lauderdale docking time

I have not sailed from that port, only Miami, but we did walk-off with our bags and were in our car (parked in the garage) well before 7:30am. We did early breakfast, kept our bags with us, and walked off as soon as it was cleared. The line moved fast and because we had no bags to claim, we just...

    Toodles?

No, only Doc McStuffins, Mickey, Vampirina, and Timon appear. Mickey does the Roadster Racer song/outfit, not Clubhouse. My preschooler only knows Mickey, really, but still loves the show. It's short but cute!

    Homecomin' Reservation Bump

We've done it. They hold tables for walk-ups (which is why reservations are so hard to snag) so on any given day, they have a lot of fluidity to their seating. We went once about 2 hours early and I told her we had a reservation but were really hungry and could we switch to a walk-up. It was no...

First Timer--Do I need a "park bag" for a cruise?

That's what I love about a cruise - I don't need to carry a thing! Even with a diaper aged child, I stuck my phone in one pocket and my card in the other and that was IT. So freeing. The ship may seem huge but I don't think we were ever more than 5 minutes from our room - it was always so easy...

Do I need to bring my whole dry skin regimen to FL?

When I moved to coastal Florida, my dry skin did not improve. It's still so, so, so dry, year-round. I never travel with the whole routine, just the basics, but you definitely need something. Now my hair does act differently in the higher humidity!

    Day Planners

I use paper for work - I attend too many meetings/conversations where a phone or tablet wouldn't be appropriate to pull out and use. My planner contains not just a calendar but also notes, to-do lists, brainstorming (I do that best with a pen, often in a coffee shop atmosphere), reminders, etc...
