Does anyone have information on when Artist Point is opening? I read somewhere that it was going to be June 4, but it is not available for reservations yet.
Does anyone have line information for early evening? We arrive at 6:44 and I don't really want to be waiting long when it getting bedtime for my granddaughter.
I was there two weeks ago and was surprised and dismayed at the long, long line to check in for DME. Is everyone finding this, at all times of day? I have never seen it backed up like that. I wonder if they are trying to make it less attractive so people are less annoyed when it goes away in...
I loved the Skyliner even though it was down one day because of storms. They were very efficient and quick to add the buses to HS and Epcot when the Skyliner stopped. I was always at the station about 30 minutes before their opening time (depending on which park I was going to. They usually...
When I went in February there were 25 stations open for checking in. It went very quickly and I did not have to wait in line. Your deplaning time makes a big difference it how the line builds. Those that are off last, tend to have to wait in a line. It should go quickly if every one has...
I had my first stay here last week. Even though I had a standard view, since it was on the ninth floor, it was good. Saw Disney Springs to one side and Epcot to the other. It was a fabulous surprise to be upgraded to a one-bedroom when the reservation was for a studio. The only thing that I...
Absolutely you are doing the right thing. It will be fabulous. The vast majority of my trips are solo and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love the freedom that it gives me to really do whatever I feel like doing. I book one table service restaurant per day and so look forward to that...
I would guess there will be people 'camping out' at the entrance the night be for opening day if they still let you. I was there one time years again for a Super Soap weekend and people were in line the night before.
I was at Aulani during the production. Quite a show. My son lives a few blocks from the resort so we walked down several times. Our one night stay at the resort was not until after the taping, but they did walk down the night of the taping. I had gone to Kauai for a few days so missed taping...
I think the KTTK would be too much after your redeye. Also I agree with the PP that there is the chance of missing it. Check in, eat breakfast, relax by the pool or boat to Disney Springs. Enjoy
I usually go to TOWL at least once on my solo trips. Usually go up early for a drink and sometimes a snack. You can get a window side table that way and no need to feel awkward.
My experience also. I looked at the site early on but most people were 30+ years younger than me. Most people just think my love for Disney is just weird, so I am a solo traveler. Doesn't keep me from going several times a year, but sometimes I would like to share it.
I think you are doing the right think to skip this trip. Is this your mom's first solo trip? If so, there are many solos on here that would help reassure her that it is a blast to take a solo trip. I am 63, female, and most all of my trips are solo. I would certainly recommend it and WL is a...
I've eaten there several times solo. Never felt awkward. I go for the breakfast buffet so the bar next door is not open. They may serve food later in the day.
I called for a bounce back before leaving on Friday and wanted late April/early May. They told me the offer was for late August to early October.

I have a king room booked for my solo visit beginning the 27tn. My son from NC is currently in Tampa for a two and a half month training. He planned to drive up to spend Saturday and Sunday with me. Can I get a roll away (cot) for him to stay Saturday night? If so, do I need to do it in...
