ABSOLUTELY! I was there earlier this month and that's what we did as well. So much easier to get anywhere by going through the Grand Californian. There is SO much construction going on at DLH right now that it may be easier to stay at PPH.

The Metro system is odd and it would be faster to take the taxi to the King Street Station in VA then take 2 metro stops to Reagan airport or stops in DC.

National Harbor is only a 15 minute cab ride from one of the metro stops and Reagan airport so it really isn't that far from the rest of DC. They are planning on having water taxis run to and from DC. There are many hotels already there. The sign there announcing Disney is coming simply...

I bought the pillow and nightlight on my last cruise! I had the characters sign the pillow. It does come with markers but I brought my own. The nightlight is battery operated and changes colors. It's fun!

I just heard from a hotel operator at Paradise Pier that the Little Mermaid attraction will be open 30 minutes early to hotel guests only starting on June 4th. Woo Hoo!

I spoke to the desk at Paradise Pier and they also didn't know anything about the FP offer. I'm checking in on the 2nd so fingers crossed the offer extends to me as well!
