Hi everyone! We're sailing with you and we have a group page over on FB! Would it be okay if I post a link here to one of our Dublin activities or our page so that we can all get to know each other? I won't if it's not allowed. TIA!!

    Disney Magic - September 15 2019 - WBTA - Dover to NYC

I usually exchange some $$ to have cash for incidentals that I can't use a card for. It can always be exchanged back (except for coinage) when you get home.

    Disney Magic - September 15 2019 - WBTA - Dover to NYC

A 2:30 flight should be safe (as long as you know how you're getting to the airport of choice).

San Diego Port to Airport Transportation

We did the Panama Canal last year and I scheduled a pickup from Super Shuttle to the airport. The previous trip we contacted our hotel and they sent the hotel shuttle for us.

Disney Magic 12 nt. British Isles Cruise 2017

I can't wait- but Bermuda comes first :D I haven't been to London in forever, but I'll have to re-familiarize myself with the Tube.. LOL. Trying to decide if the train to Dover would be better than a charter vehicle! Wish me luck.

Galveston to Houston Hobby Airport Transfers

We took DCL transportation from the Galveston Cruise Terminal to Houston Hobby for $35 each. And as we had to get private transportation from Houston Hobby to Galveston (which cost over $100 at the time, not including tip), we thought it was a great deal!

    Disney Gift Cards and Dining

Thanks- but this trip we're at SoG, and they not part of the Disney loop. That is an alternative for a future trip though!!

    Disney Gift Cards and Dining

Can anyone point me in the direction of a list of which dining venues at WDW accept Disney Gift Cards? I'm looking for a way to not bust the budget at WDW while we're there. We have one ressie at Chef's de France, and have a gift card that would cover the cost (if they accept them for payment)...

Sick kid upon boarding and no trip insurance..will disney give you park/hotel passes?

Good thoughts for you and your family. We went through DH getting laid off almost 2 years ago. We're luckier than most- DH had/has additional income, so that helps a lot. And we're pinching pennies big time. But we're hanging in there- and I know you can do it too.

    Debt Dumpers - 2016

Congratulations to everyone!! I've been reading everything over the years since posting in 2015 after my DH was laid off from work (where I still work). Priorities change, and although we're not saving and spending like we did before the job change- we're still managing to save. We received his...

    Debt Dumpers - 2015

So sorry that you had to send your fur baby to the rainbow bridge Angeejoe, my thoughts are with you. For those of you who are contemplating paying a bit extra on your mortgages, contact your mortgage company and ask them to send you an 'amortization' of your mortgage. I did that- and when I...

    Debt Dumpers - 2015

Thanks! Economic downturn.... the news keeps saying that the economy is improving- but not a lot here!! There is a silver lining though. He's lost over 40 lbs since he was laid off!! He's not tied to a desk or a computer at work, and as he gained it all taking care of me when I was going through...

    Debt Dumpers - 2015

Bumping.... more inspiration needed!! DH was laid off over a year ago from a well paying position, and although he's working (a part time job that pays less than 25% of what he was earning before)- it's caused us to do the belt tightening routine. I'm trying to make sure that we're not spending...
