Candy Cane, if we aren't staying at a Disney hotel, we stay at the Candy Cane. We have always had clean rooms and the staff are great. They usually offer AAA rates on their own website.

Birnbaum's is nice if you are going with several people, especially kids. Give each person a different colored highlighter & have them mark the things that they most want to do. After everyone has marked the book, plan to hit the rides, restaurants, shops, etc that have the most marks first.

We just got back from 8 days @ WDW & 3 days at Universal. We used our T-Mobile cell phones. Occasionally my Nokia phone would loose the signal, so I just shut it off, waited a minute & turned it back on, it then would come back with the full signal.

We love the Candy Cane Inn. Have stayed once at HoJo, but several times at Candy Cane. It is an easy walk to the park entrance, breakfast is nice and the staff have always been terrific.
