STAR WARS: GALACTIC STARCRUISER Official Information & Questions Thread

The kids are 6 and 3. I expect they will be with the parents. The grandparents may want to join them. Would that work? My family consists of my wife, 2 adult daughters and their boyfriends. Would we be better off breaking into groups of 2? Should we mix and match on different missions?

STAR WARS: GALACTIC STARCRUISER Official Information & Questions Thread

I'll be traveling with a group of 12 in late October. There are 5 adult couples and 2 small children spread across 2 families. I'm looking for advice on doing the missions. It feels like all 12 going on the same mission may be too many. What would you folks recommend? Groups of 6? Groups of...

Party with different port arrival times

DW and I are meeting our adult daughter at the airport Hilton and taking Disney transport in the morning. We have a port arrival time of 10:30, boarding group 5. Our younger daughter lives in Florida and will be driving but couldn't get a port arrival time before 12:30. Obviously we would all...

Rise of the Resistance to utilize normal queue starting Sept 23.

My hope and my guess is that they will switch in and out of VQ as daily demand changes. With recent reports of VQ being available almost all day, a standby line makes more sense. It avoids the unnecessary step of going to the app to get a group. If the line isn't at full capacity all day...

MVMCP tickets on the secondary market question

Thanks for the info... Actually, we're planning to be at the park that day, so will there be stations inside the park or should I exit and re-enter with the party tix at 3:330-3:45?

MVMCP tickets on the secondary market question

Ok, so I waited too long the MVMCP tickets for the date I wanted were sold out. We hadn't been in years and we really wanted to go, so I went to Vivid Seats and bought tickets on the secondary market. They were delivered as promised... so far so good. When I logged into My Disney Experience...

DCL/Disney Business model change setup for long term failure?

To paraphrase Yogi Berra... nobody goes to Disney anymore, it's too crowded. Actually, I don't think Disney is worried about losing future generations as the OP hypothesized. I think they have the opposite problem. They continue to add more ships and expand the parks and resorts yet still...

Plane lands at 1:45. Dinner at Crystal Palace at 5:05. Will we make it?

If you are worried about time, the fastest possible solution might be for you to get the car and go back to the airport to pick them up. Just a thought. Make sure they call before their flight leaves to confirm they left on time then wait in the cell phone lot for their call when they land.

If you saw a grown woman walking around the park like this...

I'm a fifty year old man who usually sports a "flat top" haircut. For the last 10 years or so my wife shaves a Mickey into the back of my head for each trip. People love it! I get asked to be in their pictures and it's a great conversation starter while waiting in line. Inside the boundaries...

Do you cry at Disney World?

Sometimes my wife laughs so hard that tears run down her legs. Does that count?

    SDMT Soft Opening Lookout Post

I didn't get the impression that this had anything to do with the actual ride. It looks to me like the instructions for some kind of interactive game you will be able to find on that site in 7 days.

"So this funny thing happened in line at Disney..."

Years ago when my DD's were still very small (maybe 3 and 5) we were going through FantasyLand and were currently near the front of the Winnie the Pooh line... (you know, the part where the turnstiles are going back and forth and you're surrounded with people on all sides) when my youngest...

FP+ Let's look at the math...

My gut feel is that a golden FP to ToT won't greatly affect the number of riders on ToT. There was always ample opportunity to ride ToT in the past, FP or no FP so if you didn't ride it then, you won't ride it now. The people in my party who don't usually ride ToT would usually shop and...
