I like 21 Palms RV Resort. Nice people there. It gets pretty full in the winter though. They have a nice pool and clubhouse and the cheapest rates anywhere. It's right off of 192 and I-4.

Melodi, If Frances was a direct hit to the east coast of FL I think you would still be fine on Tuesday. Even with Charley the parks and hotels had power and were running pretty smoothly the day after the storm. It is still a long way out and a lot can change. You should be fine. :sunny...

Last time we camped in May the deer flies were pretty bad... I have little ones and we can never enjoy the outdoors when the horse flies are out :(

This is one of my favorite Disney resturants! Great fresh fish. I love the seared Ahi Tuna. The ceasar salad is great too. It is rather pricey though. I would highly recomend it!::yes::

The crowds are usually light after Thanksgiving weekend ends and up until the kids get out of school. I probably wouldn't go after the 23rd of December. Christmas day is crazy and even worse is the 26th. HTH:wave:

OK. I have to agree with fsufandis. I would not tent camp in July. It is beastly hot. I would try to go for a value resort. It's not camping but you will be a bit more comfortable. After a long day at the parks in the heat, you need a cool spot to rest. Jumping in the pool does not help. This...

Wekiwa Springs is nice. I have not camped there but I have been there to swim and take a canoe ride. It is very heavily wooded in most areas so depending on what time of year you are going there might be a lot of bugs. Other then that, it is very nice. HTH:wave2:

I would definitely bring a stroller. ( Maybe you could rent the car seats when you get to Orlando.) I have twins and we travel frequently. One thing you might consider would be to buy two good but light umbrella strollers and connectors that keep the two strollers together when you need a double...

I am with you Merandab4, I thing it is tasteless to include little slips of paper telling where the couple is registered. Whatever happened to asking the bridesmaids or parents where they are registered? But... we are not the etiquette police. LOL:p

We missed Sundee everynight!!! I had two babies to get into bed before we could take our DS (3yo) to the campfire each night, so we usually didn't get there until 7:45pm. :( Just in time for the movie... Sorry I couldn't help. Kathleen
