My advice is bring grandma, or someone. So that you can enjoy the experience without worrying constantly about losing a child. Also whether the dining plan for the 6 year old makes sense depends if he/she is a big eater or not.

It might be easier to just rent a double stroller at the park.

VWL. The boat ride over to Magic Kingdom is a great relaxing way to travel, the pool is fun, and great restaurants.

Bar Harbor Maine. You can have lobster at every meal and play in Acadia National Park.

You should do crystal palace since it has characters and in my experience the wait time will be shorter there than chef mickey. Plus you don't have to travel to another resort.

Wait till your kids are older. Disney is the much better park for the under 12 crowd.

My two cents- don't pay for the club level at AKL, stay in a regular room and use the money saved to eat a special dinner at Jiko. They have unusual south african wines, the service is outstanding, and it is just really relaxing and delicious. If your kids are old enough to swim unattended...

Why not just bring a water bottle for each person and drink tap water? Orlando municpal water is just as safe and healthy as walmart's bottled water, and it is FREE. Also, better for the environment.
