Official 2021 "Disney After Hours Boo Bash" Thread

I just called the 4240 number. After a 40 minute hold, I was able to purchase 2 tickets for August 17th. I have a resort reservation with rented DVC points, and all I needed was the resort confirmation number. The CM verified my info, and that was all. I used the confirmation number they...

How Did You Create Your DIS Name?

I picked Grumpy, because I often am. The little sis part is because my older sister was on the boards before I was, so Grumpylittlesis was born.

    Show off your door!!

I found these in other posts, and they were very helpful. Door Demensions - 27" wide, 6 1/2' high, 3" deep All measurements are inches. The door is 28.75 x 77.75. 13.5 down from the top is a circular door marker that you ought to make allowances for...it has a 7.5 diameter. The door...

    Show off your door!!

I actually don't have a template - I sort of winged it. I had the dimensions of the stateroom number and the stateroom door, but since math is not my area of expertise, I just looked around the house until I found a really big circle. I ended up using a garbage can cover. I traced...

    Show off your door!!

Here is my door from the Magic, April 16-23. This one I used as a calendar - each is a separate piece and I rotated them around every morning to reflect what day it was.

Your favorite TS Restraunt in Epcot is...... Because ......?

I agree. I had the cottage pie and it was quite tasty. I don't remember what the rest of my travel party ordered, but there were 10 of us and we all left satisfied with both the food and the service. Also, if you get there a little early, be sure to hit the pub and try the beer sampler. I...

How to request a gluten free menu...

You may want to send an email to specialdiets@disneyworld.com and ask if they have a list of foods/restaurants on the ship that serve gluten free foods. I did this for the parks, and received very detailed info about what was available ready made and how to go about requesting a special diet.

    Post your June ADR's here:

I called Sunday at 7 AM (90 days out). I was on hold for about 40 minutes. The CM who I spoke to was wonderful, and we were on the phone for about an hour or so. I was making reservations for 10 people, one with a food allergy. I was able to get everything we wanted and at good times too...

    Photography Tips

I say just try to be creative. Don't be afraid to set up a shot or pose a person you're shooting. This pic isn't the best because it's too dark, but it's one of my favorites because it's a little different.

The Groovy New Pop Century FAQ Thread!

Thanks, momto1disneyfan, that's what we figured. Her main thing is that she doesn't want to pack everything up if she doesn't have to, but I guess she'll have to be prepared. My guess is they'll move her, since we're a Grand Gathering the second week, and it'll probably be easier...

Tips for Making a 1st Time Visitors Trip Magical

The thing to remember is that you're not going to be able to do everything in one trip, so be sure to take the time to really enjoy what you are able to do. Look at the details, and enjoy the sights and sounds around you. It's Disney, so it'll be magical no matter what you do. Also, I...

How do You get in "shape" for WDW?

I've used the Dr Scholls cooling peppermint foot lotion, and after a long day on your feet, it really does make your tootsies feel better. It doesn't take away the pain or tiredness completely, but it is very soothing and gives your feet a nice tingly feeling. :thumbsup2
