That’s great thank you! I’ve never used one before so it’s adding a lot of anxiety but it’s good to know that I might get one later in the day if not when I arrive.
Thanks for the response. I did do a search but mustn’t have looked enough.
Unfortunately I’m here now and having an unexpected flair up so renting from an outside company isn’t an option.
Hi,
I know it’s a bit of a how long is a piece of string question it does anybody know if there is any chance of me getting a Disney EVC in the last morning or noon at Epcot or if availability is super limited there. I know it is everywhere but just wondering if anybody has any experience of...
Thanks for all the replies. Brexit was something I thought may be an issue. Not sure how it will work either as I’m Irish and we still have borderless travel with the UK following Brexit so this may affect it. Although this doesn’t extend to customs post 2021 AFAIK.
I’ve emailed Disney Cruise...
Complete cruising novice here so sorry if this is a really stupid question.
We're thinking of doing the europe cruise that leaves from Dover, however one of the ports is where I live. Would it be possible for me to take luggage off at this port and get back on without it? I would much prefer to...
Yeah, mostly. Although we didn’t really ride a lot. In HS we did toy story mania, aliens and millennium falcon. The first 2 were walk ones and MF was the one we got a return time for.
Then at the party we did the people mover, the tea cups and small world and they were all walk ons. Small world...
I thought I’d update in case anybody else needed the info.
I went to guest services in Hollywood studios when we arrived for EEMH and discussed it with them. The CM was very helpful and thought the DAS would suit our needs best. We only used it on the millennium falcon which it was great for as...
Thank you all for the tips. We will definitely be trying them out :) we aren’t doing a ton in the parks so hopefully moving some stuff around so that we can so it in the cooler times, and then using the towels, umbrella, hats, etc, will help.
I’m going to be traveling with a party that includes a number of disabled guests. I’ve just been informed that one of these guests is temperature sensitive. They get nerve pain when exposed to heat or cold for more then about 20-30 minutes at a time. This is obviously not ideal for Florida!
Is...
Purely personal preference. They don’t find them very comfortable and don’t own one so we would have to buy one just for the trip and then haul it over from Ireland and back again. Her husband is able bodied so it’s not a physical impossibility just a bit of a pain.
I think the wheelchair...
Yeah I definitely will :)
And if not, hey that’s life, we’ll sort something out, give the parks a miss or enjoy some of the other stuff the parks has to offer.
Thanks again!
Thanks for all the suggestions :)
It’ll only be the 2 of us for most of the rides so hopefully we can work out a way to make sure there’s some space for them to move around.
Unfortunately rollater is a no go but the wheelchair may be an ok alternative if I can’t come up with something else...
Apologies if this is a very obvious question!
Someone in my party has mobility issues that require them to freely move around (as in a wheelchair is not an option as they can’t sit for extended periods and standing isn’t an option because they often need to sit or walk around to stretch - they...
I did the 10 showing last year and we went to Disney springs to get the bus back. We were back at the hotel by about 12.15. Although we had the more expensive ticket so we were at the front and they do the photo by seat row so if your near the back you’ll be there longer.
I'm just going to reaffirm what I said before as I'm not sure if what I wanted to say came across. I'm not looking for preferential treatment, all I asked was if it was normal. It isn't where I am from. That's it. The only reason I had an expectation was because again where I'm from a bus driver...
I'm from Ireland and am honestly surprised at your experience. I travel to the U.K. frequently and have travelled to Paris and beyond many times and no memory sticks out when I haven't been offered a seat of needed.
And nobody claimed young people were jumping off their seats for old people...
Apologies it was a cane disneyoma. A silver one from a hospital (the ones that look similar to crutches). It definitely was obvious it wasn't for fashion!
