    living in Ottawa?

Another Ottawan here. West Ender. Also came kicking and screaming. Nice city, but winters are too long for me. DH complains more and he's the one who grew up here, and who dragged me here. Great city for families. My advice is to research the school in the area you're moving too, to see if...

    Disney games

We have had the Trivial Pursuit one for a few years now. It is good but only if you can read and have seen the movie on the card. We just got the kids the Scene It for the holidays and am looking forward to playing it. It is one of the few things both kids could enjoy. Night Owl WDW Mar...

Anyone ever fly into Sanford vs. Orlando Int'l?

We went Jetsgo to Sanford last March. Weren't particularly impressed with our having to clear customs in Toronto (we connected from Ottawa), but going through Sanford is a breeze. Have a great trip!

    Diagnosing Aspergers

Hi -- I am shouting for emphasis. It is the best thing to do for everyone concerned. My son is 8 and we were at WDW last March. He has HF Autism, so HF that we felt guilty to request a GAC right off the bat. 1st day at MK was great (rainy so there weren't many lines) but second day at MGM was...

    Cheap Disney store pins

I've been looking on some of the sites, but with the exchange and shipping, they aren't that good a deal. Where did you find yours?

    Info on Hollywood and Vine

I really enjoyed the food when we were there two weeks ago. We did the Fantasmic package, and we really found that 4:10 (4:30 is as late as they take you for this and it was booked up) was way too early. We missed the parade, and my son was not hungry and we sat there for nearly two hours until...

leaving tomorrow and forgot Dr. note for GAC

We got back just over a week ago. We got a GAC at MGM for son who has autism without a Dr's note. (We looked very frazzled and kids were running all over the Guest Services office, so that may have unintentionally helped us.) Don't worry about it, but get the GAC it was a great help! Have fun.

    Lion King Show?

A fantastic Show. We didn't spend that much time at AK, but we feel lucky to have see this show and gone on the Safari. I bought the CD and am still singing along. It makes me regret that I didn't see the stage show. You'll love it.

    Just Back: Boma Review

We were there just over a week ago, and enjoyed it too! Thank goodness that they serve "regular" kids' food, as mine are picky eaters! Even hubby enjoyed it. I didn't expect it to be so noisy, though. Anybody else find it too noisy? I was hoping for a more peaceful meal.

Is food spicy or different at BOMA's

We also enjoyed the food at Boma. Kids had their usual fare, so they were okay too. My only negative comment is that it was very noisy, and I was hoping for one WDW that was a little more peaceful. Can't they try to soundproof the restaurants just a little? Night owl

    Suggestions/tips on taking a 3 YO DD with PDD-NOS???????

There's some wonderful suggestions, here, and I cannot overemphasize the value of a GAC. Also, I'd suggest a favourite toy or activity for the busses and waiting times, and ear plugs or headphones so that they can tune out the noise a bit.

    Noise sensitivities

We just got back from WDW last week. My son, 8, has high-functioning autism, did have some trouble with the noise and the crowds. My advice? Get the Guest Assistance Card right away! We didn't get it until after a difficult day at MGM. It will make your day run a lot smoother. Also, buy those...

    ESPN Club

We went there our first night. My DS 8 loved it. They were broadcasting a show live with 2 football players. I found the found okay, but I paid a lot and was still hungry. DS kept asking the whole trip why we couldn't go back.

    What to pack for March

It was very warm. Didn't need jackets or sweatshirts at all. Just poured our first day there -- at Magic Kingdom. But we waded our way around and did 13 attractions in the one day. Night Owl::MinnieMo ::MickeyMo

Anybody care to critique my itinerary for March Break

Hi Allison! We're going for March break too! We're at Fantasmic (H&V dinner) on Wed. Had booked originally for Tuesday, but I thought that would be the most crowded day at MGM. We're at Chef Mickey's on Friday morning. We even fly on Mondays too! Guess great minds think alike. Feel free...
