    Rainforest Cafe and Dining Plan?

Regarding the volcano for dessert...were you allowed to order it to split between several people on the DDP or is it just not an option?

Pecos Bill's - good and bad

We ate here the last week of May and it was the only counter service meal that we really did *not* like. My daughter and husband thought the hamburger was nasty. The apples I got with my chicken wrap had a strong "dirt" taste to it (only way I can think to describe it). The CM who took our...

    Whispering Canyon Cafe Help Needed!

We just ate there last week and had a blast! We were staying at the WL so it was very convenient to just walk downstairs. We had "Sassy Molassy" and my kids loved it! She threw straws and napkins at us and was definitely sassy..but all in good fun. My kids thought it was a hoot. I finished my...

Using too many TS Meals!!/ Best CS ??

My favorite CS meal of the whole trip was in France at Epcot. At the pastry shop you could get either a ham/cheese or turkey sandwich (on a baguette) or a quiche plus one of the delicious french pastries (creme brulee, flan, napoleon, chocolate eclair, apple tarts, etc..) and a drink. Great deal...

    DDP - charges shown separately?

Do you have any kids with you? If you're worrying about being charged to your credit card instead of the DDP...use one of your children's cards when the bill for the meal comes. We only had charging privileges attached to my card and my husband's card. They will bring you the bill first that...

    Best Character Meals??

1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian has an excellent buffet dinner! The food is fantastic. Kids get to spend time with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Suzy, Perla and Fairy Godmother. Dinner buffet at Chef Mickey's (Contemporary)...food is not that great but the food at the breakfast buffet is...

    Please help--re character dinners

The dinner buffet at 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian) is excellent! We just ate there last week. They had a prime rib and roast turkey carving station, boiled shrimp, chicken marsala, salmon, pasta station, etc.. Yummy! The restaurant is beautiful and the kids get to see Cinderella, Prince...

    In-room amenities at WL?

We leave in 2 days for the WL! Can't wait! Are there hair dryers and irons in the rooms already? Also..do they leave out shampoo daily? Or should I make sure I pack a big bottle of my own? Thanks!

How important is it to make room requests?

We're staying at the WL in a woods view room. The only request I made through my travel agent is for a non-smoking room. Do you always make specific requests for a room--particular floor, view, etc...? Should I do this or are all the woods view rooms pretty good? I don't want to be one of those...

    Chocolate Milk on Children's Menu?

Does anyone know if chocolate milk is an option with kid's meal at CS restaurants? The menus on All Ears say milk, apple juice or water. I was wondering if it was just plain milk or if chocolate milk was an option. Anyone been to Disney lately? Thanks!

calm me down about my e-ticket!

You should be able to get an airline confirmation number. I agree with the last poster...call the airline directly to get it. But you will not get an *e-ticket*. The whole point of an electronic ticket is that you don't get any paper. You just check in and they will give you the boarding pass...

Have you taken Amtrak to Disney?

Thanks so much for the replies so far! So...you take the train into Kissimmee and not Orlando? I think I was looking at schedules into Orlando. I love to read and the kids like video games, etc.. so I'm not worried about the amount of time on the train. We'd be driving otherwise and you have...

Have you taken Amtrak to Disney?

I'm considering the idea of taking Amtrak to Disney instead of driving...due to the high cost of gas. Has anyone done this before? How do you get from the train station to Disney and how much would it cost? We're staying at the Wilderness Lodge so don't really need to rent a car. Taxi maybe...

Has anyone taken Amtrak to Disneyworld instead of driving?

We're planning on driving to Disney but with gas prices being what they are I thought I'd check out Amtrak. Has anyone ever taken the train? How would you get from the train station to a hotel on-site (we're staying at the Wilderness Lodge) and what is the cost? We probably wouldn't rent a car...

Hoop Dee Doo...Is it worth 2 TS credits?

I have a reservation for Hoop Dee Doo for our trip in May. We're staying at the WL so it isn't far away. But is it worth 2 TS credits?(we're on the dining plan). I'm starting to rethink it and wondering if I should cancel and book 2 separate TS restaurants. What are your thoughts? I have 2...

    Toy Story Pizza Planet closed

I didn't know it was closed in May??!! What are the dates? We're going 5/26-6/2. It was on my list of CS restaurants because of no child's menu so my DS could get pizza. Catalina Eddie's also has no Child's menu so the kids should be able to get pizza there, too.

Can't afford Hoop De Doo or Backyard BBQ!!! Anyone else?

The only reason we're doing it this trip is because we're on the Dining Plan. Otherwise...I'd save my money for something else. I agree that it is overpriced.
