Avoiding holiday times - flights this year are about £370 pp for October. The more people in your group - the more you will save in terms of car hire I suspect. Start looking when prices are released 11 months before your journey - then book as soon as you see a flight price you are happy with!

we did howl o scream last year, and booked to go again this year - in addition to the scarey stuff, all the rides are open also :) Nit sure if the scarey stuff is too scarey for a 12 year old though??

I guess if you upgrade the UK return leg only to WT+ you get the comfier seats plus the bigger baggage allowance?

In the grand scheme of things, a few cents either way wont make a load of difference to the total $ you get - unless you are changing mega amounts!! ( I have just loaded £250 onto fairfx as happy with rate)

Virgin and Monarch ex LGW seem to have regular delays!

I enjoyed Church street station way back when! Also was surprised when race Rock closed - it was always busy and the food was fine!!

I agree with this mostly. The Mods are very draconian, and it does seem very sponsor directed influenced. Nevertheless, I enjoy both forums... ps - gonna put a 'do you dis' in the chat and see how long it lasts!!

I have hired a mid sized SUV for this Sept (Tampa) - will make a nice change to the base cars i usually get - do you think the choices will still be as above?

I flew with them last Sept to Sanford in cattle class. For a cheap flight it was fine - good 33' legroom (done by making seat bases 2" shorter :) - food not terrible that I recall, with seatback screens. We had 20kg luggage allowance (now reduced I think), and they were VERY strict on charging...

from what I have seen, most LGW > MCO flights are delayed by at least 1 hour most days. Plus on the return they are often full to capacity ( approx 446) with sometimes mor pax than seats due to kids on laps!!

Hi - Yes I got sent two cards - but each had a seperate account! They easily transferrred the balance from one to the other though. We now use just two of them, mine and the OH - we use one to pay for hotels (big spends) and the other for shopping and general bits, that way we are not walking...
