the hilton anaheim or marriott, both next to the convention center, have nice pool areas. you can walk to the parks, but it's a longer walk. certainly do-able though. they should be cheaper than the disneyland hotels, but you can't beat disney hotel pools. plus, just an fyi, the neverland...
