I'm in the same boat (no pun intended) :) live in Nashville have a trip to Chicago Mon and Tues, Birmingham AL Wed and a 6:10 AM flight to Seattle on Friday. I like to think of it as being adventurous. :goodvibes
We just booked today. Family of 4 me, DH, DD Abby 17, DD Sydney 16. This will be our 4th cruise on Disney and our first to Alaska. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
This is my first time posting a trip report, after reading these boards for several years! So here goes.
The idea for this trip started last summer while at a picnic. One of my daughters friends said "I want to go to the Beach after Graduation" Since then we have been planning a trip to...
I Love Clearwater Beach, but tried Vero Beach (OVIR) in Sept '09. I loved it so much we returned in Oct '09.
I have to admit I like the beach itself better in Clearwater, but the beach in Vero was nice and the resort itself was fabulous. I would give Vero a try as long as you already have...
Thanks for all the advice!! It sounds like both have their pros and cons. I currently have reservations at LaJolla, but still have to make a final decision.
We are planning to spend Thanksgiving in San Diego. I would like to stay at the Embassy Suites because of our large party size. Trying to decide between downtown San Diego or LaJolla. Any suggestions?
Thank you!
That's what I was thinking, but one of the pre-cruise brochures sent a couple of weeks ago for our 3/25 cruise made me think there was only one. I'm going with one formal and one semi-formal.
I our kids were split last time we went. DD9 liked to stay with us and you couldn't pull DD11 out of the kids club. She had a blast doing the treasure hunt and water balloon fight. We saw her at Cookies and asked if she wanted to check out and come with us, but she said No, she was having too...
Right now is a great time to buy formals on Clearance. I was at Dillards this weekend and found formals for 50% - 75% off. They had some really cute ones for under 40.00. I was tempted to buy another, but I already have mine for March.
Hi All! We're sailing with you too. Me, DH, DD12, DD10, DM and DB. We can't wait!!!
Anyone doing a land tour in Grand Cayman? I can't get anyone in my family to do a snorkeling tour, but they would like a land tour.
We cruised on the Mariner of the Seas in 10/05 with our DDs 10 and 12. The 10 year old liked RCCL better and the 12 year old liked DCL better.
We did get to ice skate, but did have to wait for about 45 minutes. We didn't get to climb the rock wall, the line was always too long...

We used ME and Southwest for our trip at the end of May and it was Great! Our luggage went with us in the under bus storage. We were dropped off on the first level and Southwest has a special checkin area for ME. We checked in with 3 families in front of us. When we went up the escalator...
We just returned from 8 days at WDW and had a wonderful time! We tried EMH on Wednesday, 5/25 and were very disappointed at the crowds. We managed to get to Mickey's PhilharMagic and Small World. Splash Mountain was closed due to difficulties and Big Thunder Mountain had a 55 minute wait at...
