Ok thanks Kat and jimmytammy! Right now we have SSR booked, but hoping to maybe do a split stay and fit Copper Creek into the week too :) We already have to move from a standard to a preferred at SSR anyway, so if I'm moving, I'd rather move to another resort.

Paddock is standard view, preferred sections are Congress Park and The Springs. Just be advised that a studio has one queen bed and a pull out sofa. Your boys would have to share the pull out.

The bus ride from SSR to Epcot is pretty short. Probably about 10 minutes or less once you leave the resort. The bus stops are farther away from the entrance to Epcot. If the buses are crowded depends on a lot of factors, time of day, busy season, etc. I like the Paddock area of SSR, nice pool...

We got into it on May 13th which happens to be our check out day, from 9am - 11am. My brother and his family are joining us, they are not good at being early risers and on checkout day I'm skeptical if they will make it. My DS and I will be ready though, we are very excited to check out Pandora.

Update: I called today and there is a glitch that is showing the wrong options for room requests. They are aware and trying to get it fixed. MS was able to add my requests directly.

Hi Barb! Hope you are doing well :) I actually don't hate that chest of drawers, except the top of it. The couches were much uglier.

SSR is my home resort as well and I've stayed there a few times. First few times were in Carousel which I would not recommend, too far away from everything. We like the Paddock near the pool. There is a quick service restaurant at the pool, can refill your mugs and the bus stop is also located...

I'll give a call tomorrow when I'm home and report back. The only thing I can think of is that I added on a night at the start of my reservation. When I added it, preferred was the only thing available. So I waitlisted a standard view and the waitlist came through. So I wonder if that screwed up...

As much as I wish he enjoyed WDW, I can't force him, so DS and I enjoy it together or with other family and friends. Now DH does love Vero, so we've worked that into our vacation rotation as well :)
