We stopped at South of the Border on the way down. It was cheap like $25 or so, clean restrooms, easy on and off 95 and easy pull thrus. We will do it again next year when we go.
I have flown them once, will never fly them again, not worth the $100 bucks I saved in total. Awful experience and nickel and dimed me to death. In the end I should have paid the extra $100 on Southwest and had less stress and a more enjoyable flight.
We have used Fairy Godmothers on three different trips and have been very pleased with the results. Plus when you tell the kids their Fairy Godmother is coming to stay with them while mom and dad go out.....
We favor a longer stay with less stress to get things accomplished each day. We have gone with children as young as you mention. It is nice to be able to head back to the hotel for the youngest member to take a nap or just rest. We never try and do all in one trip as we always know we will...
I would welcome more sites as long as they also added more pool for it and perhaps another small Outpost. As long as the campground is selling out Disney will look to capitalize on it. They would also look to add more check in perhaps to support it. How many spaces could fit over there? Is...
Hopefully this post is in the right location. If not please delete.
I am looking for anyone who owns one of these 5th wheels. I would be interested to know how you found the quality? What are you towing it with? Have you weighed the trailer and also determined the actual pin weight...
I have 164 Saratoga Spring points for transfer at $10 pp. The use year is February and these will expire January 31, 2010
Looking to move all the points at once. I am willing to look at renting these points. Vacation must be completed by January 31, 2010.
Great way to have premium...
You want to talk about rain. We were there last August when tropical storm Fay came blowing through. It rained and rained and we had a great time. Once you give into the concept that you will be wet, it makes you take advantage of the lack of crowds.
We were at the Fort during Fay this past August. About 36 hours before the storm was to arrive they came around and had handouts. They are really on top of their storm procedures and keeping campers informed. We felt very safe and well informed. I cannot remember exactly what it said but was...
We did exactly this during this past summer.
We put the kids down at 8PM for a nap and then woke them up at 11:30 and went over to MK. It was open til 3AM and was great. It was their favorite day/night for the whole trip.
The next day we slept in, kicked around Ft Wilderness and took it...
There is a book on Hidden Mickeys which gives an older child something else to look for on a ride and while at the parks. Also if they are into skateboarding there is a GREAT Vans Skateboard park not far from Disney. You can rent boards and gear there if you cant bring your own. Hope those...
For another idea we found that Disney has machines where you can get dog tag type necklaces made. We had them engraved with their name, our name and our cell phone number. Our two youngest loved them and now we keep them to use on other trips to places.
Ours is the Airstream Skydeck. Unfortunately I dont think they are made anymore, so we will have to refurbish one by the time we can afford it, by then they will be classic...
We didn't see any major damage at the Fort. As mentioned just little branches and standing water. Will be interesting to hear if it is gone away at this point. Seemed like it could lead to a lot of mosquitos.
It is very simple to run more than one ipod from the same computer. I have my iPhone and the two oldest kids running from my laptop. That way we have all the music in one place, the movies etc.
I prefer the ipods for ease of use. The kids love them to watch movies on the road.
We just got back as well. We were there the 14th thru the 23rd. We stayed at 348 and loved the site. It was WET! but as noted did keep the crowds down, and once you got wet what was the difference. On Friday night we went to MK and didn't know what wet really was until we were on Splash...
