I've done both, I like Ohanas better. It's a nice calm way to start the day. They serve it family style and the food and service have always been great. The characters do a conga line with the kids and there's lot of interaction. This is one breakfast I never miss!

We have been to both. We liked Ohana's 100% better! They welcome you with Pineapple bread. They serve it family style. The characters are great and they do a Conga dance around the entire restaurant with the kids and anybody else who would like to join in! I think you will enjoy it! ::yes::

Another vote for Ohana's my boys love the characters there! I've eaten at Chef Mickey's twice and we like Ohana's better!

Your description is about what I thought Disney would be like during Christmas. Only a special breed of people can do Christmas week. I'm not one of them and I'm guessing you are not either.

I did one once, darn thing almost killed me! I was so stressed out! I learned my lesson and other then a few priority seatings, knowing the park hours, early entry days and extra magic hours we play it by ear!

My husband and I will be celebrating our 18th Wedding Anniversary at BCV (1/17/05) January 16th -26th with our three children.

We have only had breakfast at Ohana's, but that is actually our favorite now! We ate there for the first time on our last trip. We loved the atmosphere of not too crazy, but fun with lots of character interaction! Plus nothing beats a family style buffet! I think you will all enjoy the experience!

Actually the new plans are pretty good. After reading more on it. For the basic meal plan it's 34.99 for adults and 10.00 for children and that includes tax and gratuity.

Everytime I have inquired(about 6 times) both were available. The price might be the only difference. I recall when we went the garden wing was a lot cheaper.

I think Port Orleans Riverside is nice we stayed there when we were a family of five and it was fine.

We will be there 1/16-1/21 Beach Club Villas, 1/21-1/25 Villas at the Wilderness Lodge. Celebrating our 18th Wedding Anniversary.

I have stayed at both the Wilderness Lodge in a junior suite and a two bedroom at the villas. After staying in the lodge itself I was a little apprehensive about staying in the villas as it is next to the Lodge and I wasn't sure if I would enjoy that as much. I now love the villas! All the space...

We were there this past May 16th- 27th. The first week was pure heaven but as it headed towards Memorial Day weekend the crowds grew. But that also was the DVC Member's event weekend so that might have made the crowds larger.
