Do you prefer staying at MCO or going to the port?

We always stay at MCO. Really like the convenience of collecting our luggage and going straight to our room. Even better that DCL collects it the next morning. We really enjoy the DCL bus as well.

Is it possible to order MDR to go?

Leave to people who abuse it, to ruin it for everyone else.

    Alcohol carry-on and soda policy

Our favorite soft drink isn't available onboard, and that's why I asked. We also don't drink wine, which is why I was asking about the beer. There's really no need for the snarky comments.

    Alcohol carry-on and soda policy

My husband and I haven't sailed DCL in over five years. We just booked for February 2023 from Galveston. Are we still able to take onboard, a 12-pack of soft drinks? We would also like to take advantage of the six-pack of beer allowed. Last time we sailed, wine was the only alcohol allowed...

    Why isn't the popcorn free?

DH and I just returned from Carnival Vista (great ship, BTW.) Yes, the popcorn is 'free' but it is still not as good as DCL's (IMHO.) DCL's taste is true movie theatre popcorn. (Carnival's was bland, but did satisfy the salty crunchiness craving that I have when I consume any alcohol.)

Will I be able to change my brother's family Palo reservations?

Good. I'll get to board after Concierge, and want to get there before they open up the bookings. We're hoping to be able to 'swap off' so each other can go to Enchanted Garden upon boarding.

Will I be able to change my brother's family Palo reservations?

We'll be on the Fantasy this Saturday. I am Platinum, and my 16 year-old niece is sharing my room. My brother (who's Gold,) his wife, and son, are in the connecting room. We were not able to get Palo brunch together. I plan to get in the Palo ressie line when I board, to see about booking us...

Is 12:13 pm flight from MCO-DFW close enough?

Silly me! I just now remembered that. Thanks!

Is 12:13 pm flight from MCO-DFW close enough?

For the life of me, I can't remember what time our flight was last year. We will not be sailing until May 2018, and I'm about to purchase my airfare. (AA flights.) Thanks!

Should I change one name on my room or move to another room with brother's family?

Thank you. We each booked our own reservations. Maybe we can both get on the phone with DCL.

Should I change one name on my room or move to another room with brother's family?

I'll explain the simplest way I know. My DH and I currently have connecting OV rooms for the Fantasy next May. My brother, his wife and two of their children have connecting OV rooms next door. When we booked, it was going to be DH and I in one, DD and her best friend in another. Due to...

Question about canceling a booking and changing a name

Our family currently has two rooms booked for the Fantasy, May 19, 2018. DH and me in one, and DD and her BFF in the other. There is a possibility that DH will not be able to go, and we're still not 100% certain DD's friend will be going either. If they end up canceling, will we be able to...

When are the ships' Horns played?

Thanksgiving Magic 2005, they played dueling horns. It was incredible. Wished I'd had my camcorder with us then.:sad1:

Leaving Kids Asleep In Our Cabin.....Alone

DH and I left our 9 year-old DD in the stateroom one night. She was EXHAUSTED from playing on the water trampolines in St. Maarten, and feel asleep at Parrot Cay (the old dining room on the Magic) that night. We carried her back to the room, put her in bed (even let her sleep in her clothes.)...

DCL transportation: will I regret this?

We had a similar situation when we stayed at the Beach Club. We arrived at 2:40 pm, and Cabana's had already closed one side. We'd hoped to dine at Enchanted Garden. :( I know that arriving that late is not typical, but it made us decide to NEVER stay at a WDW resort again (precruise, that is.)

    Castaway Cay buffet difference?

Same here. Never had an issue with lines, and our rib-eyes were tender.
