    Old Ticket Question

All right, thanks for the info. She does know that it might not work and she will just have to buy her another ticket if that's the case. I appreciate the replies!

    Old Ticket Question

Oh, I didn't know that my kids could use it even though they were no longer "kids". But as I've already bought them hoppers for our upcoming trip, we won't need this one, so I might as well give it to my niece. Also, when my daughter used it, they weren't making kids do the fingerprint scan...

    Old Ticket Question

I've got an old child park hopper that I bought in 2007 with no expiration. I am 99% sure that there is one day remaining on it, but I no longer have child-age kids so I've never had it verified for sure. My sister has decided to take a quick trip to visit our parents in FL in Nov. and is...

    7DMT - How jerky/bumpy?

Thanks for all the replies! In response to the brace question, no it's not a cervical problem, it's a vascular issue that occurred during an angiogram I recently had, so I don't know if a brace would help at all. As my DH pointed out if I can't ride, it gives us an excuse to go back again...

    7DMT - How jerky/bumpy?

I have had some recent health issues and my doctor has put a few restrictions on me because of them. I explained about our trip to Disney in Nov. and he said "nothing too jerky/bumpy/fast stopping". Basically, nothing that would cause a lot of twisting/side-to-side jerking/whiplash type...

    BBB and then.....ummmm...ideas?

I took my daughters to lunch at Akershus in Epcot after their BBB appointment, which was Princess dining. My DH took DS mini-golfing while we were at BBB and lunch.

Seven Dwarfs FP - any chance?

I just got them some! :yay: Of course they are nine hours earlier than ours are, lol, but at least they have them now. I will keep checking back to see if I can get them to match up eventually. Thanks all!

Seven Dwarfs FP - any chance?

Great, thank you so much everyone! I am on the computer quite a bit, so I'll keep checking. Ours are later in the day, 7-8, so if other people are bumping up to earlier ones, maybe I have a better shot. I'll keep chekcing. :)

Seven Dwarfs FP - any chance?

We are heading to Disney over Thanksgiving week and my parents are joining us, but arriving 2 days after we do. I made our FP+ selections a couple days ago and got everything we wanted. However, last night when I made my parents' choices, there were no more FP's for Seven Dwarfs Mine Train on...

    Liberty Tree Tavern Nov/Dec booking

I got a notification from Dining Scout today that there was a 7:30 dinner available on Thanksgiving, but when I logged in it was gone. Are they taking reservations over the phone for Thanksgiving?

Why Does the DIS Allow Members to Promote Reservation Sites?

I guess if these services were extremely expensive I could understand the argument about those willing to pay more getting a better chance of getting what they want. But they're really not. I signed up for Disney Dining Scout a few days ago and it was $4. Considering how expensive the actual...

    Making Multiple Reservations

We haven't been to Disney for six years and I can't believe how ridiculous it has gotten! Honestly, I thought the old FP system worked just fine and with it the only ADR people had a hard time getting on a consistent basis was CRT. We just made ADR's last week and the one place my 11 year-old...

For people who take short (3-4 day) trips

Every trip we've taken has only been four park days (with a day on either end for travel). The first 2 trips, I had one child that was 2 and so we came back to our room every afternoon for a swim and a nap, which was normally about a 3-hour break. I never felt like we were rushed or missed...

ETA FP Decisions-Please Judge Me! What rides would a 9 year old who is scared of "big kid rides"....

My oldest was always extremely fearful of any kind of coasters and Big Thunder ended up being her favorite when she was 10. We started with Goofy's Barnstormer which she did like, but really had to coax her into going on Big Thunder. As soon as we were finished, though, she wanted to go again...

    Parasailing on Castaway

Has anyone done it and would you recommend it? I parasailed once a LONG time ago while I was on spring break in Mexico in college and I loved it. I am trying to get my son to come with me as I see that it is tandem. DH is afraid of heights, so he is out and my oldest daughter refuses to go...
