Do people just book a room to get Unlimited fastpass?

We are staying at the Sheraton Vistana for a week but also have booked 1 night during the week at the Hard Rock. We'll pack an overnight bag and do the day before and after in the parks with FOTL. Plus we don't have to drive back and forth each day. Absolutely worth it for the 4 of us.

Thanks, that's exactly what we are looking for. I don't know how that would work though. Can they give us a referral to some kind of promotion?

Best off site 2BR for $120/night or less?

We are going to be staying in Orlando the last week of April, 2010 and are trying to stay in the best 2 bedroom accommodations for my wife and me and our 2 teenage boys. We know we can get a good setup in a number of places for $120/nite or less before taxes. At this point we want to find the...

Sheraton Safari vs Sheraton Vistana... Which would you pick?

We've stayed at both. While we had a good time there the the Safari is really a no-frills place. We stayed in a "suite", which was okay for the price we paid. Really just a hotel-type room separated by a bathroom area. The pool is nothing special, the health club was tiny and Spartan. It...

    Timeshare Promos?

Boy, that's good deal. We aren't going until the end of April so we can't take advantage of it, but I appreciate the info.

    Timeshare Promos?

A few years back we stayed at Vistana Resort on a 4 night, $250 with $100 back promo. I've been searching the forums but can't find any current offers, though I would guess they are still out there. I signed up for the promo emails at Vistana, maybe I'll get something from them. Is...

Thinking about switching from Amtrak to Jetblue

You're probably thinking I'm kidding but I promise I am not. You could give me the whole vacation for free and I wouldn't make that train ride. Trains were the only civilized way to travel when horseback was the only other option. Take the medication and a nap and you'll be in FL before...

    Vistana Villages---Should I do it?

We had exactly the same experience 2 weeks ago. We did upgrade to a 2 bedroom unit (the price was $100 more). Total out of pocket was $159 for 4 nights. There was no high pressure sales gimmicks, they just asked if we wanted to attend the presentation and we said no. I believe they offered...

    Disney Quest or Sea World?

I agree. DQ is a couple hours worth of things to do if you hit it as soon as it opens. If I was looking to kill a day I'd choose SW.

    Timeshare?

We just got back from the Sheraton Vistana Resort. We took their 4 night 2 bedroom for $150 deal ($250 plus $100 cash back). We were in the old section, but the room and grounds were immaculate. At first glance it's kind of intimidating because it's so damn big and everything is so close...

Will the parks be crowded Feb 24-28th?

It's worth it. We'll be there Monday and Tuesday and are staying at RPR on Mon nite for FOTL. We did the same thing at the same time last year (beginning of NH school vaca weeK) and there were absolutely times when we needed it. It really wasn't needed first thing in the morning, but by...

I believe WDW has been Ruined for my DW.

I just assume that in any large group there is going to be a small percentage of perverts or miscreants. Policemen, politicians, school leaders, clergy all have proved to have creeps in their midsts. I think when you are paying relatively low wages to thousands of people to work in a theme...

Magic Kingdom locations for afternoon rest

You could take the monorail (or even walk to CR) to one of the monorail resorts and decompress there. The beaches are nice at the Poly and GF. Maybe even have an adult beverage.
