I'm doing DLP only, but I believe there was an option for transfers. DLP is only a small portion of a broader 2.5 week trip across Europe for us (assuming we actually can go at some point).

Agreed. We did Peter Pan, Snow White, dumbo, space mountain and was almost to the front of the line at Indy before the official park opening. Of course both Indy and the Haunted Mansion went down which put us a bit behind, but overall it’s been a great day.

Today at Disneyland- on Harbor at 7:27. No lines at security or gate. Rope at end of Main Street dropped right at 8am, one hour before official park opening.

Question for those of you who have gotten boarding groups for WS. How long do you have to get in line after your boarding group is called? My DH is NOT an early riser so trying to figure out how much time we will have once our group is called.

For the last 4 years, we've spent Thanksgiving at Disneyland. Except for the year that WOC was down, we do the dessert package Thanksgiving night for "dinner". In the box are these gingerbread cookies that are thinner and darker than the ones they sell at Trolley Treats and Main Street Bakery...

Nope. Poured on us on and off Thanksgiving night and they did not cancel either WOC or the dessert party. We huddled under umbrellas, but it was COLD.

Desert Palms (Not Desert Inn, but I think related) has 2 bedroom suites that have two queens in each bedroom. We've stayed there before, and are staying again later this month. The walk is doable, as they are on the corner of Katella and Harbor.

It is absolutely worth it, even at $60. I use it with the iPhone app and am able to not only keep track of expenses, but it's really worked to keep us on budget and off of living paycheck to paycheck. Make sure you take advantage of their free classes. Very helpful.

Personally, I'd skip Universal with a 3 year old. I took my ten year old in the fall and we only stayed 5-6 hours at most. There are very few things we saw/did that I think a 3 year old would enjoy. It will take you at least an hour (and that's if there is no traffic) and there is not easy...
