We were just at Kualoa Ranch today and went on the UTV Raptor tour which isn’t necessarily geared towards the movies but it is promoted as part of the experience. We saw a few Jurassic Park movie set items and it’s not very exciting in my opinion but that’s me (and I love all things movie...
I had no problem at less than 5 months out! I was able to reserve 2 studios (for 3 nights each) at VGC for this month and I made the reservations back in September, 2009. I was quite surprised at the availability!! :thumbsup2
We just got back from a 5 night stay at DLH. We have always stayed at the Candy Cane Inn but with the Buy 3, Get 5 promo, we decided to splurge and pay extra to stay at DLH. Certainly, it's a nice hotel, but it's nothing spectacular. It was nice being so close to the monorail and DTD. We...
We were just at DLR last week and my daughter and cousin took Grayline Bus Tours to Universal Studios. The service was perfect...they picked the kids up at DLH precisely at 8:30 and estimated they would be back between 7:30 and 8:30pm depending on traffic and they were back at 7:45pm. We took...
Well, my situation is a bit different...I just called our guide this past Friday and told her we were going to buy BLT and to send the paperwork. On Sunday I rec'd an email with the PIN in it. I have a PIN, but no paperwork! I would guess this just depends on when the guide sends out the email?
We did the Illumination's Cruise (like the one described above) last September on our trip...it was a splurge and I'm glad we did it. Would I do it again? No, probably not. We were there w/my DS, her husband and our 2 nephews (ages 6 & 9)...it was there first trip to WDW and I thought it...
Just a thought...but could you cash the check and donate the money to a charity in their name? Then you could send them a card and tell them what you did with the money?
And our trip couldn't have went any better! We took my sister, bro-in-law and 2 wonderful nephews (6 & 9 years old) on their first trip to WDW (9/25 -10/3) and we had a great time. A few observations:
1. Coronado Springs is a great resort (our second stay there). My nephews loved the Dig...
I booked our 9/08 WDW trip airfare back in March, 2008. I had been watching the fares closely for months and since we wanted a particular red-eye flight, I paid a higher price to guarantee we had the flight we wanted.
A few months later, I happened to check our flight status...and we went...
I was up at 3:45am yesterday morning to try and book our 9/28 Illuminations cruise...I can't believe how difficult it is to dial a phone number at that hour! I started calling shortly before 4am and kept getting the recording, so I would hang up and hit the redial button...well, sometimes I...
I was wondering if other people were having as strong of a reaction to Tim Russert's death as I was. I've been so sad and depressed since hearing of Tim's passing on Friday...my husband and I are both big fans of Tim's. I was supposed to be off of work today and ended up going in just because...
I had the fajitas at CSR on our last trip...they were truly the best fajitas I had ever had...and the cook was very friendly and helpful!
I was on the phone last night with Disney getting quotes for our 9/08 trip and she was telling me that the Dining Plan works very well at CSR since it's...
I wanted to share some info I just rec'd from my TA...
Back in January, my family had booked a trip to WDW from 9/26/08 - 10/3/08 and was hoping to be able to add the Free Dining if and when it was offered. The TA said she thought our vacation dates might be too late to be able to take...
Yes, I consider Napa my home town...I lived there 1973-1985...I moved there from the Bay Area when I was in 6th grade and I lived there until I got married and wanted to buy a house...real estate in Napa was too expensive for a young married couple. It was a great town to grow up in...I still...
"OH-and a last suggestion-if you like chocolate or ice cream, go to 'annettes' in downtown napa. she makes the most awsome chocolates and truffles (and the smell inside the place is great even if you're too stuffed from a meal to partake)."
Hey! I'm a former Napakin too!!
I totally agree...
