Not all rooms have a daybed. If you have 5 in your party you will get a room with a daybed. If you are 4 you need to request one but it's not guaranteed.

There is a desk with a chair and under the desk is a smaller table on wheels that you can put where you like. There is also a chair and ottoman. If you look at my pictures you will see both.

It depends, if you add your son's friend to the reservation right from the start he would have to be on the same plan as everyone else. If you add him on when you get there (just make sure you have enough beds for everyone) they will work with you on it. This may have changed so check a few...
