Hi Everyone!
Long time Walt Disney World traveler, however, this is my first time going as GP (gastroparesis) warrior. Just wondering if there are any other GP warriors out there and if they had any advice for my upcoming trip in December?
For the first time in my life I'm able to afford a...
Hello Everyone!
It's been 9 years since my last visit to WDW, long story why (adopted 4 kids, finances tanked, COVID-19 and decline in health on my part). I need to stay 2 weeks to allow myself rest and hydration. I know APs are not currently being sold. And I know this question has been asked...
Add us to the party! I'm going with my DH and our four daughters along with our best friends and their two grown sons. It will be a first trip with three of our daughters to celebrate their adoptions and our third trip to celebrate the adoption of one of our daughters. We were going to go in...
Sorry to report that my DH started a new job and he will be working during our planned vacation time :-( So, I have to pull out of this group. I'm now off to join the September group. I hope everyone has a great time in November.
Hi All!
Just book our trip for next year at POFQ from November 23-Dec 3, 2016 with 7 people. Yep, we will be there on Thanksgiving Day! We are also hoping for FD. I don't want to change resorts but I am willing to for the FD. Happy Planning everyone!
When we went with our daughter she wrote "My Adoption" on it. She got LOADS of attention for it, even got her own special boat at the Mexican Pavillon. Congratulations!! We are going next year to celebrate our second adoption, this time we adopted three!
It's not too late. I'm a soon to be adoptive mom of three teenage girls (already adopted one). When they came to us they had been separated because of the behavior of the youngest twin. The older was 13 at the time and the twins were 11. They came to us with a diagnosis of ADHD only for the...
Anyone else getting impatient for the packages to come out? We usually have to setup a payment program and with the adoption of 3 more teenagers we REALLY have to plan! I've been giving out Disney Dollars as incentives for my girls and have been saving out "deposit" money on a gift card. I...
So, if I am understanding this...if we are staying at a moderate we would pay the child's price for regular dining and then would need to pay the differences in the adult prices to upgrade to deluxe dining?
Would that be 109.53-60.04 + 19.23 for a total of $68.72 per person per night...
I would suggest buying one of the WDW passports. They are would $10. When you visit each country someone signs the passports and interacts with the kids. One of my DDs couldn't wait to see her name written in each language. Going to do it again when we go in January.
What about letting them borrow a cell phone so you can be in constant contact? Or using an iPod touch? That's my plan.
I have four girls and out of the six of us 2-3 want to ride ToT. Both adults aren't going to ride. They are all saving up for iPod touches and will be able to text and web...
Just to clarify I never said anything about my MANY visits in one year. I said we adopted my first daughter last year and this will be her third trip. My daughter has lived with us for over three years and everything was final last year. I've never gone more than once in a year and its usually...
I'm taking my four daughters in December. Its a special trip as we have adopted one already and are in the process for the other three and it will be two of them's birthday. Would anyone be willing to send one for them?
As I stated above, I was hoping for a little extra attention. I'm not hoping for an upgrade or Mickey to greet us at the door. It's a special time for us with all the celebrations and my daughters haven't been given the love and attention that most children do growing up. They are all 13 and...
I would choose GG. Love the food and the slowly turning restaurant. The food is very fresh and yummy. However, we did enjoy Biergarten also last year. I don't think you can really compare the food because they are so different.
We were on the dining plan and I wouldn't pay for either if...
First off DH and I are Disney Vets, we go every year. We adopted our daughter last year and this will be her 3rd trip.
I typically do online check-in because we stay at the same resorts and know room locations and don't need the spiel.
We have decided to go this December with our...
Hi,
We are headed to WDW in December. We have reservations for Kona Café at 7:30am on the day we check in. We will be staying at AoA or Asmu. For three of our four kids this will be their first trip. So my thoughts were breakfast there and then monorail to MK for rope drop.
My question is...
