Access to Chip n Dale Campfire

We will be going to Disney in a few weeks. We are staying at AKL but the first night of our trip we are going to be staying at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista since we have a UPH connected with our AKL stay and got a good deal at the Hilton. Question: It would probably be an ideal night for us to...

    Wilderness Lodge

During our last WL stay the kids were 4 1/2 and 1. They loved it!!! Mainly for the reasons mentioned already but my oldest just loved the boat dock and his favorite thing was to take a boat ride to MK or FW or CR. Campfire at FW was a big hit. Water Parade at night was a HUGE hit. We had a...

Favorite Studios Restaurant - with kids??

Sci Fi is a mandatory stop for our kids. Because of the lighting and large room it is almost a relaxing environment compared to most park restaurants. Big hit with the kids...I would recommend it at lunch and stick to basics like burgers, etc.

    SWA FF reward restrictions

Does SWA restrict the number of reward seats on a flight like other airlines? I heard they did not but I am not sure. The flight coupon listed blackout dates but nothing about capacity controls...I'm not able to check our dates as they have not starting selling seats for March yet..

    Flying w/Baby?

It was smart to schedule a long layover to stretch legs and get a meal...that works for us when we are not able to get a direct flight. We usually try towards nap time for flights...but if not, a bag full of simple toys, books, etc. Sticker books are always a hit. While not required, we would...

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge Resort Frequently Asked Questions (slight update 5/14)

We are booked at AKL for Spring Break. Only one concern, our two young kids could get picky about food (especially during travel) so I am wondering if they have kid friendly items (ie. chicken nuggets, fries, etc.) at the AKL restaurants.

    March 2004 codes

I may have missed this in another thread but now that Disney has a code through year-end, I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts as to when codes ususally get released for Spring. We are already booked for March 2004 (Spring Break.) I'm not sure if they even offer codes for Peak season...

    best hotels off disney

I must say that I am very biased towards on-site hotels but you have plenty of info. on this board to get more info. on that. Off-site, years ago we did stay at Holiday Inn Kids Suite and the rooms and pool was great. The free breakfast buffet got old after one day but it was a good...

Chef Mickeys - Love It Or Leave It

If you are a family with kids that love characters...it is a must. We have been for the breakfast and it was a great experience for our kids. If you think of it in terms of an event vs. high quality food...it is a great experience.

    Kid meals at AKL

We are going to be staying at AKL with a 5 and 2 year old. Both could be picky about eating...they are the chicken nugget, fries, pizza type of kids. While we are looking forward to AKL, I am worried about menu selections. Does anyone have any insight as to child friendly foods at any of the...

    Poly vs. AKL..thoughts please...

We are considering one of these two resorts for our March 2004 trip. I understand the fundamental differences between the two in terms of transportation options, park access and price. We have never stayed at either one of them (we were at WL last year) and are currently debating which one is...

    why blast sci-fi

Sci-Fi is a now a mandatory stop for us. Our kids are so captivated by the place that they end up eating a great meal!!! For those that have very picky eaters...they have chicken nuggets vs. fingers. A potential big deal for toddlers!!

    Bern's Steakhouse ??? (OT)

Bern's is a tremendous experience. I've been to many steakhouses and this is much better in terms of it being an event...more than a steak. I lived in Tampa some time back and this was a favorite for visitors. At the time they had the largest wine selection in the country. They grow their...

    Dreams Unlimited for working options

I hear great things about DU. Has anyone used them for working various options/scenarios? We are contemplating 2 or 3 different Disney resorts or possibly a Disney Cruise during peak season 2004. The reservation form is geared towards knowing what you want and what we need is to really talk...
